The next Saturday morning, I couldn't wait to find out what I would discover there. I dialed Sakuri's number hoping she would come along.

Paan! Paan! Paan!

No answer. with all things sane Sakuri was probably still asleep at this time.

Ring! Ring! Ri-

"Hello?"

"Ta-ma-ko"

"Sakuri?"

"Who e-cough! else"

"Are you alright?"

"More or less, I came down with a cold -cough!"

"Too bad, I was heading into town and I wanted you to come along."

"Do me a favor."

"Anything"

"Take kauru with you."

"K-ka-kauru?! So not happening"

"But you said anything"

"Anything excluding that"

"hmm- cough!- is there more to it?"

"More to what? She likes Bell"

"So that's what caused the hassle, you like her!"

"I-I do not! Speaking of Bell weren't they meant to head off to a ball game today?"

"Bell had- cough!- match practice so he couldn't make it, now she's all alone."

"So I'm meant to be a stand in for Bell?"

"That's the function of yujin A, plus you still owe me for the mess hall"

"Fine! But its only cause of the mess hall"

"Who are you kidding, we both know you would have taken her along any waaa- cough!- ways. Well good luck on your date."

"Its not a date! See why I didn't want to do this?"

"Well you have no choice, I'll inform her that you would be taking her out"

"Please don't make it sound like that"

"she'll wait for you outside the station, don't be late. Bye"

"Wa-"

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Kauru, why kauru. I'm not ready psychologically. Not ready for what exactly?

I couldn't lie to myself any more I did kind of envy bell, he had kauru. For some reason she was all I wanted, needed. She held more keys to me than even I could explain. The best thing to do now is to just let it go.

I arrived at the bus stop an hour earlier, every single nerve in my body acting up. I was still questioning myself why I had come so early when I saw her, the uneasy look on her face brought out her feminine nature in more ways than one. I could only watch in awe, that this beauty...her beauty, was out of this world, I had never seen anything like it. Then I saw it that brief moment of sadness, my whole scope took a hard crash to the ground. I felt my heart literarily being ripped apart. She seemed to be looking for something, someone... me! I totally got lost in my thoughts that I forgot to walk over, but I came an hour earlier, had an hour passed already? No not even close, then... could she have come because she felt the same way? That was hardly possible. Only one way to find out.

"Yo!"

"A-arima kun"

I took in her splendid attire

"the dress looks good on you"

"u-um-th-thank you"

"Sorry Bell couldn't make it"

"No it's good"

A smirk bit at the corner of her lip, it didn't seem she was expecting him to show up.

"The bus would be arriving any minute from now, we should wait at the bus stop"

"Yeah we should. U-um w-where are we headed"

"Sakuri didn't inform you? Well, there's a place I want to check out, an address I found at my house Then the amusement park. If I remember clearly were heading to striker park-"

"Roselle road, I'm familiar with the area, I visited a friend there some years back"

"Really,"

"Yup"

"Perfect, I barely have an idea how to get around."

"Why exactly are we heading there?"

"There are some things I have to check out, pretty important things"

"Cool, I've been looking to get out of the house more"

"Sorry about your date with bell being called off"

"Da-date? Ar-e are you retarded. Firstly it was never a date and it wasn't him I was planning on heading out with"

"It wasn't ?"

Clearly caught off guard, she pretended not to hear.
