My name is tamako Arima; I'm your average Japan, teenager asides from the fact that I speak pretty good English. I enjoy classics and I live a very normal boring life like the rest of you reading this book and this is the story of my awkward teenage life.

As of last year I was still a sempi at yamato high, in my final year. I'm an average teenager, with average looks, and average... everything else to be exact. I lived your boring teenage life, doing your boring everyday activities, but all that changed the day I met kauru toma. It was the spring of 2014, April coming to a close, we had just finished our finals, most of the lower class men were sulking over the departure of their favorite sempi. Having not being adored by any of the lower class men, I took an early leave. I decided to take my regular stroll through the park. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom that day, but I didn't bother myself, everything was as grey as usual, and that was when I saw her, this frail looking girl, sitting at my regular bench, but something was out of the ordinary. Till this day I can't place what it was. Whether it was the violin she played, the song she played, or the way it seemed the pigeons danced around her, but what I can recall from that day was life finally... developed colour.

For the first time in my life I finally noticed how beautiful the cherry blossoms looked in full bloom.

Kauru was a fourth year student at the empire gate all girls school, she was a stunning fourteen year old who seemed to bring everything to life. She had cool blue eyes, and long pale blond hair, which never seemed to be well kept; it always danced in the wind, but even that added life to the atmosphere around her. She held her violin ever so tenderly, and played so sweetly it almost brought me to tears. But there was something about this piece she played that was too familiar, a piece I could never forget: Chopin symphony no.4o loves sorrow G minor K.550. As a boy I was involved in an accident, that accident, lead me to have temporary long term amnesia, length undefined. I remember some child hood events, but those came back to me slowly over time. I couldn't recall the details of the accident but all I remember was that this song had a link to the accident and to my dad, so I always despised the song, it only brought back misery. But something about the way she played it was different, it was... giddy, bright and full of life but sorrow was still present in the notes. All I could see was my dad's face; the way she played it brought back too many thoughts of him.

Then she stopped. The whole world seemed to stop along with her violin. Time froze, but one thing was unaffected by the sudden stop, and that was my yearning for more. I could literarily feel my ears cry out for more. Then she looked up and the first words I ever heard her say came forth. "You can never forget, can you? The way the lights bathe you from head to toe and save you from the darkness around, and the way the applause reminds you you're alive. Can you? Tamako Arima".

I was totally startled, she knew my name, almost as if she was expecting me, I looked deeply into her honest blue eyes for any form of recognition but there was none, it was clear that I had never met this girl before, but when I looked deeper I did see something I recognized: a Steven sons, black, polished oak, grand piano. A piano my soul ached to play. But that didn't make any sense, because I didn't have the slightest idea on how to play a piano. Then she said another thing that startled me: "May I help you?" This made me take a few steps back when I realized how close we were, our faces had almost met. There was something missing within me that I was sure could be found in her, and that was what I searched for.

I had to quickly snap out of my trance and reply,

"U-u-um I'm sorry, nothing really. If I may ask, you called my name earlier, do I know you?"

"Nope. But I know you." Her reply was swift and clear. "And how, is my business so don't bother asking."

"I-I'm sorry" I managed to say.

"I'm waiting for someone so you could move on."

For some reason I felt like if I left that spot, a major part of me was being torn off. As I gathered more strength than normal and began to turn, I heard a familiar voice call out.

"Tamako!" I turned to see my only two friends. Morishima Sakuri and Bell fullbring.

Sakuri was my closest friend; she was practically all the family I had left, and bell was my accomplice on the soccer team who ended up joining Sakuri and I, in our two man friendship circle. That was in the third grade a few years after the accident, but from what I recall I knew Sakuri long before the accident, but for some reason she never speaks of it. Relive washed through me as there finally a came reason for me to stay a little longer.

They headed towards me waving and of course it was only natural for me to wave back, but what wasn't right was the girl on my bench was also waving. I tried my best not to look to her side because I was almost certain it wasn't those two she was waving at, it couldn't be.

"Tamako! You air head! Didn't I tell you to wait after school?"

"You did?"

"Baka! You agreed to follow me to the park. You said you'll help me introduce Bell to the girl who wanted to meet him. But it seems you wanted her for yourself beating us to her."

Then it hit me, she was actually waiting for them. It was no surprise that she wanted Sakuri to introduce her to bell. Bell being a good looking foreigner and captain of the soccer team always had a way with girls.

"No it's nothing like that; in fact I was just leaving."

"You're going nowhere!" Sakuri said as she locked her arm with mine, to prevent me from escaping. "A promise is a promise and you promised to help me introduce them. It's not like you have anything better to do, than waste your time watching cheap anime."

That was true to an extent.

"Ok I'll stay."

"Good, now let's start. Bell meet Kauru Touma, She's a fourteen year old professional violinist, she's a second year student at empire gates, an all girls school. Her hobbies are painting baseball and any instrument."

"And Kauru meet bell he's a sixteen year old foreigner, a sempai, like the rest of us at Yamato high. He's a professional soccer player, his hobbies are cute girls. As for the rest it's irrelevant."

Bell kept up his best to die for smile, and it was clear that Kauru smiled back, but what wasn't clear was the fact that it all looked acted. At least that's what I thought. Sakuri continued her introduction.

"This is Tamako Arima, you could call him yujin A. Tamako kun and I would be the observers in this relationship, the three of us welcome to our group, the loners three. But now four with you included."

She gave a high pitched subtle laugher that made me feel light headed. For some reason I wasn't at all comfortable with the fact that she fancied Bell. On a normal note I wouldn't really care, no matter the number of girls fancied Bell, to be honest I could care less about the opposite sex. But she, she was... Different.
