Love (Part II)
He picked me up at eight,
On the spot not a minute late,
He was dressed formal,
I hope I wasn't dressed to normal,
He smiled at me as I came out,
With lust in his eyes no doubt,
I was in a dress,
Formal and no less,
He led me to the car,
Had my door ajar,
I couldn't wait to arrive,
Wondering where we were going to dine,
We pulled up to a fancy restaurant,
It looked French as if I could order a croissant,
He held my hand on the way in,
Although I thought my chances with him were slim,
He seemed very interested,
He acted as a gentleman as if he was being tested,
I feel warm inside when he is near,
My feelings for him are clear.
