When
When the air is cold,
When the time shifts slow,
When the light is gone,
When all you can do is pawn,
When the love fades away,
When you can't stand another day,
When the horizon ends,
When the helping and hand doesn't lend,
When the days go backwards,
When you regret afterwards,
When your mind disagrees,
When your body can't ease,
When the sleep you didn't get,
When the smell won't let,
When all my senses fail me,
When the day comes I won't be able to see,
When I don't take life for granted.
