Every good writer should have that feeling that they belong somewhere else, a different place, a different time.
They should get up every morning and be slightly surprised by what they see out of the window. The view may be wonderful, but they know it's not the view of where they really belong.
A good writer is excited when a lift door opens before they press the button. Their people might be in the lift, their real people, the ones who will take them to their real home..........
