Chapter 13

MIA'S POV

When we pull up to school me and Kim get out of the car and Adam rolls down the window. I go around to his side and Kim stands to the side.

"I am scared." I say.

"You are going to be fine. I love you and I will pick you up after." He says and leans over and kisses me.

"Bye. I love you." I say and walk over to Kim and we link arms as we walk. Into the school.

When we get into the school we see people staring at us, mostly me.

"I am sorry for what happened to you Mia." A girl tells me.

"What happened?"

"Are you ok?"

And a bunch of other comments as we walk down the hall.

MIA'S POV

All day everyone has been walking on eggshells around me and it is pissing me off. I just got to my Lit. and comp. class and my teacher walks in.

"Morning class. How are you guys doing?" He asked

"Good."

"Today we are going to talk about the book we are reading." He says. "Can someone tell me what happened in the last chapter?"

"Ben?"

"In the last chapter Jenny and her friend were in a car accident on the way home from school." Ben explains.

My teacher looks at me. I stand up. 

"Stop I am tired of people walking on eggshells around me. Yeah I was in a horrible accident but it is not your business. So will people stop treating me differently." I say and stand up and leave the classroom with my things. I pull out my phone and text Adam and my parents.

TO:Adam, Mom,&Dad
Can someone pick me up i am having a rough day?

FROM: Adam
Yeah I will.

FROM: Mom
I will call and call you out.

TO:Adam,Mom,&Dad
Thx.

I walk down to the principals office. When I get there I walk to one of the secretaries.

"My mom called to call me out of school?" I ask.

"Yeah she did. Who is picking you up?"

"My boyfriend."

"Ok just wait until he gets here."

FROM: Adam
I am here.

"He is here. Can I go?"

"Yes you can."

After she said that I walk out and go to the parking lot. I look around and spot Adam leaning against his car. I run over to him.

"Rough day baby?" He says as he holds me in his arms.

"You have no idea." I say and let go and he opens the door for me and I climb in. Then he walks to the other side and to get in and we drive off.
