"You know that we aren't actually dating, right?" Ryan says dragging me away from everyone.
Um, no! I didn't know that!
"Yeah, I know." I lie. "Can you tell me why, again."
"Because Erin is being an obnoxious little..." Ryan pauses. "Girl! An obnoxious little girl!"
"Oh, burn." I say sarcastically.
"Okay, so if we're going to do this, we need to do this right." Ryan says looking over at me. "First, we need to hold hands."
I grab his hand. "Okay, I can do that."
"Okay, next, we need to fake kiss."
"I-I don't know if I can do that... I might have to come in for a real one," I offer.
"Nah, that's fine. I'll teach you," he shrugs.
"Okay, I guess that works too," I say. Dangit! I was so close!
"Third, we need to be together every minute of the day," he stops and turns around to face me, "But don't get any ideas! This is just to piss Erin off!"
"Psh, I know. You have nothing to worry about," I assure him. Yeah right.
"Thanks Christine! You're an amazing friend! I'll pick you up tomorrow morning so we can go to class together! See ya!" He says as he drops me off at my dorm.
Yep. I am such an amazing friend.

"CHRISTINE GET UP! WE HAVE TO GO!" I hear someone yell.
"I've been trying to wake her up all morning! I even poked her for two hours straight!" I hear Ava say.
"CHRISTINE GET THE HELL UP!" Someone starts to shake me violently.
"NO!" I scream as I shoot up.
BANG!
I hit my head against Ryan's and we both fall back, clutching at our heads.
"GOD DAMMIT!" We both yell simultaneously.
"CHRISTINE WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?" Ryan screamed.
"THAT WAS FOR WAKING ME UP YOU IDIOT!" I scream back right before I catch sight of the clock.
"OH SHIT! IM LATE!" I jump out of bed, "GEE, THANKS FOR WAKING ME UP GUYS!"
Ava facepalms as Ryan says:
"I would facepalm, but thanks to someone it would hurt."
I quickly run to the bathroom and change into a pink blouse and a pair of jeans. I leave my hair down and put on a little bit of makeup.
"That was quick," Ryan remarks as I walk out.
"I'm used to getting ready in five minutes. Ava never gets me up on time!" I explain.
We walk in silence for a few minutes before Ava remarks:
"You do know that you two have matching knots on your forehead right?"
Ryan and I quickly look at each other and see that Ava is right.
Ryan starts to respond when Erin runs up to us and grabs Ava's hand.
"There you are Ava! I've been looking all over for you!" Erin grins.
"You have?" Ava stares at their hands uncomfortably.
"Yes of course!" Erin says as though it should be obvious. "Why wouldn't I be? We're dating now!"
"We are?" Ava says, startled.
"Yeah! We talked about it last night, remember?" Erin says with a strained smile.
"No, we were talking about science," Ava argues.
"No, we were talking about is dating!" Erin says hurriedly.
"Oh, right," Ava turns toward me, "Christine there is something I should inform you about. Erin and I are now engaged in a friendly courtship."
"Yes, that explains why you two are standing three feet apart while holding hands," Ryan says sarcastically.
Erin quickly pulls Ava to his side and she loses her balance before Erin steadies her. She pats him on the back awkwardly before wiping her hands on her kakis. Erin blushes and drags Ava away before any more harm can be done.
"Well, that was weird," I say and Ryan agrees. We walk down to grab a quick breakfast before going to class.
After class we begin to walk to cheer when Ryan spots Erin and Ava.
Ryan spins me around to face him, "Kiss me!"
"What?"
"I said kiss me!" Ryan jerks me in and slams his face into mine. His lips are right at the corner of my mouth. I could "accidentally" move my lips a little to the left, but I did promise. Oh well, I might as well get into character. I begin to rub my hands through Ryan's hair.
"What are you doing?" Ryan whispers.
"Getting into character, duh!" I whisper back.
"Too much!"
"Are you sure, I think it's pretty convincing."
"Yes I'm sure! It's my head and you're touching every single part of it!"
"Ew! PDA much?" Erin whines as he and Ava walk up to us.
Ryan and I turn around awkwardly.
"Oh look, how cute. You two have matching bruises," Erin says as he eyes our foreheads.
"Yeah," I challenge, "It's from all the kissing we do!"
"I thought it was-" Ava started.
"Shut up Ava!" I scold.
Erin gives us a disgusted look and the walks away with Ava.
"Kissing? Really?" Ryan asks.
"Yep, everything is always about the kissing."
