Hello, Wattpad readers!!! I am honestly truly sorry that it took us so long to update. We have had a lot of school work and activities to do. Please forgive me. I promise to update sooner next time. Don't hate me. Enjoy!!!

"Sooooo, what kind of sports do you do?" Erin asks Ava to avoid the awkwardness surrounding our table. Ever since Erin and Ryan broke up, breakfast, lunch, and dinner have been extremely awkward. Since Ava and I sit together, Erin feels that he needs to constantly be with Ava. And Ryan feels that he needs to constantly be with me. I'm not complaining, of course...
"I play water polo and I dive," Ava says, taking a drink of her water.
We sit in silence for a minute before Erin talks again. "When is one of your next matches?"
"I have a diving competition tonight, actually. It's at the large indoor pool," Ava informs him.
"Well, I'll be there to support you. Because I'm just a good boyfriend like that. Caring, loving, everything that Ryan's not. But that's not hard to beat," Erin says, glaring at Ryan.
"Ryan is actually going to be there tonight, at the competition," I say, sticking up for him. "I already told Ava that I would go and he's such a good boyfriend that he said he would accompany me."
"You never said..."
"Shhh, Ava!" I hush her. She leans back in her seat.
"Well, I guess I'll just see you two love birds at the competition," Erin crosses his arms.
"See you there," I say.
"Christine! Hurry up! We will be late," Ryan says, leaning against my door frame.
"I can only move so fast," I say. "I can't find my white flats anywhere. Have you seen them..." I stop when I see him holding them up. "Yep, those are the ones."
"Looking good," Ryan says. "For once you had time to do your hair."
For once, my hair isn't in it's sloppy bun. I had time to brush it out and leave it down. "Come on we are going to be late," I say, dragging him out the door.
"So what happens at these things anyways?" Ryan asks.
"Basically, they do a flip off a diving board and get judged on their dive. It's so boring. But I want to support Ava," I explain, brushing hair out of my eyes.
"And to make Erin jealous!" Ryan smirks. I glare at him. "I'm just kidding... We want to support your friend."
"Thank you," I smile. Ryan nudges me. I elbow him. We laugh and continue on to the large pool.
As we walk in, we notice that we are 10 minutes late and not a single person other than Erin is here. He sees us and frowns. We sit on the opposite side of the bleachers than him.
"Next up, is one of our own. Ava doing a double back flip dive off the 30 meter high dive," An announcer says over the speakers.
I clap. "Woah! Go Ava! You got it, girl." I yell.
Erin smirks at me. "Go Ava! Go! Fight! Win! You do this dive! That's my girlfriend!"
I don't take challenges nicely. "GO AVA! MY ROOMMATE! MY BEST FRIEND!"
"GO. AVA!" Erin turns towards me.
I scream at the top of my lungs. "GO AVA! GO! YOU GOT THIS!"
"THAT'S MY GIRLFRIEND. SO BACK OFF!" Erin yells.
"SHE'S MY ROOMMATE!" I scream back.
"GOOOOOOO AVA!" Erin yells.
"NO! YOU WONT WIN THIS!" I jump at him and Ryan grabs my waist and pulls me back.
"Your own 'boyfriend' is holding you back!" Erin laughs.
"Let me go!" I yell at Ryan. "Erin, you son of a..."
"Christine..." Ryan says quietly. I look up to see Ava standing on the board watching us.
"Oh, no," I groan.
Ava stands there staring at us.
"I need to ask you to leave Miss, you have disrupted a competition," A man says from behind me.
"Come on, Christine," Ryan says dragging me out. I mouth I'm sorry to Ava but I don't know if she gets the message. "Way to go, might as well get us kicked out of a freaking pool!" Ryan says.
"I'm sorry," I say.
"It's okay. But you might need to talk to Ava," Ryan says. "I'll bring you back to your dorm."
We walk the rest of the way on silence. "Thanks for coming with me to the competition, even if I did get us kicked out."
"Anytime," Ryan grinned. "And I had a good time, you're the best fake girlfriend ever!" Ryan leans down and hugs me.
Ouch, fake girlfriend! Even knows that's what I am to him, it still hurts. "Bye, see you tomorrow."
"I'll pick you up in the morning," Ryan waves. "Oh. And you should start waking up earlier. You look good when you try."
"No promises. Bye." I tease, closing the door. I lean against the door frame. Maybe one day he'll drop me off and it will be a real date.
A hour later, Ava comes into the room. "Ava, I am so sorry!" I apologize.
"It's okay, no one ever goes to those things. It's good to have excitement. And thanks for coming, even if you got kicked out, it meant a lot," Ava says.
"Of course! It was in a weird way fun!" I laugh. Ava smiles. Ava can be the best best friend a girl can have sometimes.
