Authors note 8 years later
This ending is going to be out of no where and abrupt because I'm just closing it up really fast many years after originally writing this so I apologize for that and offer this picture of my cat I named Percy when I got at 13 years old as a peace offering.

Percy's Pov

I woke up on a cot in the medicine with my lungs feeling like they were on fire.

After a few minutes of confusion I opened my eyes to see all of my friends sleeping uncomfortably in chairs around me.

"Wow this looks like a sad party!" I croaked out in my raspy voice.

"Percy!" Annabeth yelled, rushing to my side.

The rest of my friends groggily walked to the bedside a little slower than Annabeth but looked happy to see I was alright.

"Hey man I thought I got you killed in there for a second." Leo said looking down guiltily at his shoes.

"Don't worry about it, you were trying to stop an evil ice goddess, I would've done the same thing in your situation.... actually guys, I'm really glad to see all of you here for me and I'm looking forward to talking later, but can I be with Annabeth alone for a second?"

My friends all happily agreed and left us alone to talk for a while.

After a few moments of silence Annabeth spoke. "Percy I don't know if I can do this anymore. I need to get away from being a demigod for a while, I'm tired of almost losing you so often."

Percy thought that over and came to the conclusion that she was right. He needed a break from the chaos too.

"I don't know how you're going to feel about this Annabeth, but do you remember when we visited camp Jupiter? And I showed you the city where all the demigods lived? How would you feel... maybe... going there?"

She thought for a long time. Like a really long time. And then finally she looked up at me.

"It would be really strange, but I'd camp Jupiter would take us I would love to go and stay there for a while."

2 days later

It was an abrupt decision that him and Annabeth had made but he could tell it was the right one. He and Annabeth would fly back to California, and they would make them a place to stay at camp Jupiter for as long as they would like.

They had said all their goodbyes to their friends and boarded onto Leo's ship (which he had graciously offered to help bring home the rest of the camp Jupiter campers).

"I'm going to miss this place." Annabeth said as they watched Camp Halfblood fade in the distance.

"Me too. I'm going to miss it a lot but it's not forever! We can come visit any time we want! Well, as long as there's not bloodthirsty monsters after us!" I said confidently.

"Wow seaweed brain you have a real way with words!" She marveled at him with a smirk.

"Yes that's part of my charm, you'll get to see even more of it once we're not being chased by monsters constantly!" He said, pulling her into a hug.

For a second it seemed like his future flashed before his eyes. He could see Annabeth and himself resting on the grass in the city, going to classes and relaxing for the first time in a long time.

He didn't know how long it would last but that's part of life. And he was ok with that.

Anywhere Annabeth was, he knew he would be okay.

A/n I wrote this in 5 min but I wanted to give some kind of closer to the story even if it's rushed and not good. Anyway I'm excited for the new Percy Jackson Netflix series which inspired me to come back and look at this mess I wrote when I was 12. I hope you at least enjoyed some part of it and maybe I'll redownload this app in 8 more years and cringe at this again, but until then I wish all of you well!
