LIAM'S POV

"Mom! Do you know where my car keys are? I'm meeting Tyler at Leslie's Diner in 10 minutes" I yelled as I searched through the piles of mail on the kitchen table. "How many times do I have to tell you that you have to stop losing your key's? If you can't find them, you are going to pay for the replacement!" she chastised me as she came walking into the room. My mother was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. No, I do not like her like that if that is what you were thinking. She had long blonde hair, and eyes that could stop you in your tracks if she was angry with you. I was told by my friends that she had a "hot" body, but honestly I try not to dwell on that too much.

"What are you doing to make your Mother so upset, Liam?" said my dad as he walked in and wrapped his arms around Mom from behind. "He can't find his keys again. This will be the third time just this weekend!" my Mom said as her face slowly became redder. "Did you look in your pocket, Liam?" replied my Dad as he looked up from my Mom's neck after kissing it. As I'm reaching into my pocket, "Of course I did...," I rambled. I fumbled around my pockets and shit they are there, "My bad" I mumbled sheepishly. "First of all, Could you at least wait until I leave before you attack Mom, really Dad? Second, I got to go Tyler's going to kill me if I don't get there soon," I said to them as I felt my phone buzz for the second time in the last minute. "Nope. No can do. Your mom is just too hot," said Dad as Mom's face was turning red for other reasons. "Okay, well that's my cue to leave, but remember that Ellie is getting home in around an hour." I rushed out of the door, but not before I heard my mom mutter that they need to hurry then followed by some giggling. I mean I'm happy they have a healthy marriage, but come on, they are my parents so gross.

Driving to Leslie's Diner didn't take long, and soon my senses were bombarded by the aromas of hamburgers and fries. Tyler was sitting in the back corner of the place and was already flirting with a girl from another table. Tyler and I both were attractive. I'm not going to deny that girls came easy to us and we both loved it. Tyler had black, hair and green eyes and I had blonde hair with blue-green eyes, but that is pretty much where our differences stop. Both of us being fairly built and tall, Tyler coming in at 6'2 and me at 6'3.

As I slid into the seat across from I took a look at the girl he was flirting with and I hooked up with her last month. She was a slut and didn't want Tyler to get involved. I gave him a subtle shake of my head and he said his goodbyes, not before they exchanged numbers.

"Hey, Man what's up with the shake?" said Tyler as he still stared at her ass as she walked away. "Remember the crazy chick that I hooked up with last month," alarm flaring in his eyes, "Well, that's the girl." "Shit, really? Great is there any girl that you haven't hooked up with?" replied Tyler. "Don't give me that! You know that out of us you are the bigger player" "Thank you I will take that as a compliment," Tyler said with a cocky smirk on his face. Tyler and I were talking about mindless stuff when our favorite waitress walked up. No she isn't hot if that's what you were thinking. She's a 60 year old women that knows us better than our mothers do and will always tell us advice even if we don't want to hear it. "Hey Boys! I hear that you start school tomorrow. Be good boys and don't mess around too much this year will you?" she said with an accusatory tone. "Yes, Mam" we said simultaneously, but we all knew that it was a lie.

She chatted with us a little longer and then excused herself to go help her other tables. We didn't worry about our orders because they were started as soon as we walked through the door. Tyler and I ate our food and Tyler rambled on about girls due to he heard rumors that a new girl was starting tomorrow. Honestly, I didn't really care, but Tyler wanted to know if I had seen her yet. We went to a fairly small school and so any newbie was big news. Guys were excited to see if she was hot and girls dreading the possibility of her being pretty. I hated the high school drama that always surrounded my friend group and could not wait to graduate. The mantra that I'm going to have to play over in my head to get through is "only one more year, Liam. One more year."

Soon after finishing eating, Tyler and I parted ways and I headed back to my house. Lying in bed I thought of Ellie and how much she changed over the summer at our cousin's, and how I'm going to have to beat the living shit out of anyone that so much as looks at her the wrong way tomorrow. The new girl almost forgotten as I drifted off to sleep.
