And she just
loses it
the strength in her legs
and collapses
hits the steel wall
and blood shines
on the cold floor.
Her heart's done
screaming
now deaf and
dumb and blind.
She didn't do
nothing but
they don't try
to crack her code.
"I didn't do it".
A/N
This poem is inspired by the movie and Broadway musical "Chicago". In it, a woman is falsely accused of murder and is executed. I wanted to write a poem about a topic similar and I just couldn't ignore Chicago once I remembered it.
