Dean woke up in a panic, having the same old dream once again. In actuality though, it seemed more like a nightmare to him. His twin brother was dead and all Dean could dream about was that he was still alive. He didn't want to sleep because he felt he would see Blade. He didn't want to go anywhere that they used to go together. Dean felt that if he went anywhere that him and Blade went then he would have the nightmares again.
Dean swung his legs over the side of the hotel bed and sat there, his hair plastered to his forehead due to sweat. He sighed quietly to himself, careful not to wake Seth whom was sleeping in the bed next to him, and then stood up. He shuffled across the carpeted floor out of the bedroom. He went into the "living room" area of the hotel room. He was exhausted because of the lack of sleep, but he couldn't fall asleep at night. He was rapidly growing insomnia through his daunting nightmares.
Dean got himself a bottle of water from the mini fridge then plopped down on the couch. He could hear Roman's loud, constant snoring from the other room and Seth's occasional mumbling about nonsense from his. He was glad that some people were at least able to sleep.
His eyes were drooping heavily, the temptation of sleep immediately taking him over. He slumped down on couch and curled up slightly. Before he could even take control over what he was doing, he fell into sleep once again.
The hotel room's silence was disturbed by a loud, terrified scream. Both Seth and Roman were dragged out of their deep sleeps by the noise. They ran out of their respective rooms to find Dean hyperventilating on the couch.
"Dean! Dean, what happened?!" Seth cried.
Dean struggled to catch his breath. Seth and Roman sat down on either side of him. They both wrapped an arm around him in a protective way. Eventually, Dean was able to calm down enough to speak properly.
"I had those dreams again." He mumbled. "It's like I'm being taunted."
"We've all been having those dreams too, Dean. I guess it's just affecting you more because he's your brother." Roman explained.
"I just can't get any sleep because of it. I feel so lonely and empty."
"I have an idea." Seth chimed in.
He dragged Roman and Dean off of the couch and dragged them into the bedroom. The other two were confused about what Seth was planning on doing. Seth simply smiled at him as sat down on the bed.
"Dean says that he can't sleep and that he feels lonely because he keeps having dreams about Blade, so maybe if we're all together then it won't happen." Seth explained.
He climbed under the covers and curled up by the edge. Roman chuckled then got into bed with him. Dean stared at them in shock, not believing that they would actually do that for him. He then crawled in between Seth and Roman.
"You guys are the best." Dean stated.
He was the first one to fall asleep. Roman and Seth stayed up for a little while in order to make sure that Dean didn't wake up. Thankfully, he stayed fast asleep and didn't seem like he would be waking up. That allowed for the two of them to go to sleep themselves, glad that Dean finally felt safe and loved after the pass of his brother.
