Blade wondered the back of the arena in search of Seth. He needed to find him and find him fast. There was something important that was on his mind for awhile now. Eventually he decided to go check Seth's locker room in hopes that he would be there. He knocked on the door lightly, earning a small "come in" from inside. Blade pushed the door open and hesitantly walked in. Seth was sitting on the bench across the room. He glanced over his shoulder to look at him.
"What do you want?" Seth hissed before turning away.
"I needed to talk to you about something." Blade stated, shutting the door gently behind him.
"Well, speak."
"I was thinking about getting The Shield back together."
It was eerily silent, not a word said or a sound made. Seth slowly turned around to look at Blade once again. Blade stood in his spot awkwardly as Seth eyed him up and down. Seth stood up from where he sat and walked over to Blade.
"You want The Shield to get back together?" He pressed then laughed. "Seriously?"
"The Shield was arguably the best tag team that there has been. We dominated."
Seth chuckled slightly before going dead silent, staring at Blade. He took the thought into consideration. It seemed like a reasonable idea, but what would the others think about it? What would Dean and Roman say? Would they agree to it or refuse?
"Just think about it, alright?" Blade said before leaving the room.
He headed down the dark hallways of the arena when he heard footsteps behind him. He glanced over his shoulder, but nobody was there. He continued on, but heard it again. He stopped dead in his tracks and looked around. Once again nobody was there.
"Hey, Blade!" A voice called out.
That was when Blade was pushed down from behind, a fist pounding down on his face over and over. He couldn't see who was attacking him because he was trying to cover up his face with his arms to prevent anymore damage from occurring. The assault seemed to go on forever before more sets of footsteps finally showed up.
"Kane, stop!" Another voice hollered.
The punches finally stopped and Blade was able to see once more. He looked up to see Roman and Seth attempting to hold Kane back. He was the one who had attacked Blade from behind. He had been the one that was stalking him in the hall. Dean crouched down to Blade's level and helped him to sit up.
"Are you okay, Blade?" Dean asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. This psycho just showed up and attacked me." Blade responded.
Roman and Seth were able to get Kane away from Blade. They all went back to Seth's locker room. Dean and Roman helped Blade to sit on the bench and check out the busted lip that he had. Seth sat down next to him.
"Kane was muttering something about The Shield getting back together and how he wouldn't let it happen." Roman explained. "He must've heard about it."
"I'm not going to let that stop me though. I think that it's a good idea and we should do it." Blade added.
"Well... I'm on board."
"Me too." Seth agreed.
Blade, Roman, and Seth turned to Dean who was pacing back and forth. He glanced over at them slightly then stopped his pacing. He crossed his arms over his chest and sighed. He was the only one who didn't want to get The Shield back together, only because he was still upset about the initial break up.
"Come on, Dean. It'll be great!" Blade persuaded.
"Fine, fine. But if this goes south, it's your fault, Blade." Dean agreed.
