Dear Dad,
"You were my hero, my best friend, my father. You took care of me and I took care of you. Now that you're gone I feel empty inside, I need you. I will always be daddy's little girl. "
I stepped off the stage, kneeled to kiss my father's cheek one last time. I held back my tears because I know he wouldn't want to see me this way. I stepped back, they closed the casket and took him away. I couldn't help but cry. My grandparents came to me and hug me. "He's in a better place now, sweetie, We'll meet you at the restaurant you go get ready." They said. "See you in a bit" i told them as I walked away.  While I was getting ready, at the corner of my eye I saw someone staring at me through the window.
I closed the curtain as quickly as I could. It was a white man with all black on except his bright blue hat with the New York Yankees logo on it. I recognized the hat in a matter of seconds because it looked like the hat my father gave to me at one of the games we went to.
I peeked through the curtain to see if he was there. Thankfully he wasn't. My heart was racing but I calmed down after I realized he wasn't there. "Who was that guy?"  I thought to myself. I guess it doesn't matter now. I hurried to get into my beautiful blue Volkswagen. While I was getting out of the driveway I saw what looked like to be a black cat. I slammed my brakes.
I got out the car and saw nothing but a black bag.  I almost suffered a traumatic heart attack for a plastic bag. I get in the car and turn on the radio. Tears come out of my eyes when I hear the first words of my dad's favorite song. "My Girl" by the Temptations. It reminded me of how good of a dad he was after mom left us. I finally arrived to the restaurant, my favorite restaurant to be exact, Olive Garden. I see my grandparents waiting.
They turned into skeletons because of how long I took. I explained to them why I was late. They were worried about my stalker. I told them I'll be fine. The waiter came and took our order. I asked for the same as always, Chicken Alfredo. Nana and Pops order each others food, they've been doing it for years.
My Nana always wears fancy scarves that matches her mood, and Pops always wore suits with a bow-tie beacuse normal ties were "Too hard to put on and a waste of time." , like he always says. We finish our meal and as we walk out i tell them i'll be getting home a little later beacuse i was going to the pharmacy to get toilet paper. It was about 9 PM and a little chilly outside. The pharmacy was about five minutes from Olive Garden. I parked my car. As I was about to get out, i glanced up at the window and saw the same blue hat worn by a guy wearing all black. Coincidence or not I was a little terrified to go in.
I didn't have a choice we needed toilet paper. As i walked in I avoided getting too close to him. I walked around to see if there was anything else I needed. I'm not going to lie, I wanted to see if the guy will still there. He wasn't. I breathed a sigh of relief. I paid and as i walked out, there he was standing next to my car. I stood motionless. Someone behind me tapped my shoulder, i jumped.
"Why so jumpy." an elderly woman asked. "It's nothing." I replied. She told me i left my phone and returned it to me. I said thank you with a startled voice. She walked back inside. I turned around and see him walking away. I ran to the car and quickly opened the door. As i was about to turn on the car i saw a piece of paper behind my windshield wiper. I opened the window and reached to grab it.
I opened the paper, it was blank. It was an old styled type of paper, it was brown, it kind of looked like my morning coffee. I got home as quickly as i could.  I arrive at 9:40. My house was silent and dark. It was Saturday night and i had to work the next day. I went to the kitchen to wash dishes. When i finished ,I took a shower and completed my history homework.
I had to write a biography about my favorite historic figure, which was Niccolo Machiavelli, an Italian Renaissance Historian. It took me about an hour to finish. I sat on my bed and turned the TV on, a couple minutes later I fell sleep.
I woke up to the smell of my favorite pancakes that Nana makes every Sunday morning. I looked to my right and the clock read 11:32 AM. I brush my teeth. I go downstairs  and see my Nana making pancakes and Pops setting the table. "Good morning" I say to them. They greet me back. My Nana gives me a tight hug and Pops gives me a long kiss on my big, shiny forehead. We sit down to eat. On my plate there's two pancakes with butter, three strips of bacon, and a bowl of fruit beside me. My Nana brings me some chocolate milk in a glass cup with blue polkadots.
When I finish eating I got ready to go to work at Walmart. I put on my khakis and a dark blue shirt. I straighten my hair and grabbed my purse on the chair in front of my computer table. I walked downstairs to say goodbye to my grandparents. I got in my car and drove to work. Time always seems to go by slowly when I'm working.
I'm about to go on my lunch break when I hear my friend calling my name."Karrie!" She yelled. I look back her stylish outfit and short blonde hair. "Hey Nicole, want to go get some food?" I asked. "That's what I came here for." She replied. We walked down the street to Wendy's. I see a man with the same bright blue hat with the New York Yankees logo on it. He was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans. I look down at his arm and see a green tattoo.
I saw him walking towards Wendy's. I'm not sure if it's the same guy, I could be wrong. We walked inside and took a seat, I saw him walking towards us with a tray of food. He places the tray on our table, he never made eye contact. He walked out. Nicole and I look at each other in a state of shock. "I think that's him." I thought out loud. "Him, who?" Nicole asked. I explained everything to happen ever since my dad got murdered. We never ate what he brought, so we gave it to a homeless man outside of Walmart. I finally finished work three hours later. I go home and tell my grandparents what happened this past two days. I told them not to worry I'll be fine.
     But I was WRONG.
