I know, probably the most interesting topic... not. Okay, so I'm currently in the middle of my cl.10 boards (don't worry, I'm writing this during a short break I assigned to myself before I go back to the wonderfulness that is Indian history) and I may be going slightly mad... no kidding. The ICSE (that's the board I'm doing) is killllingggg me.
And it's creepy ya know, when you realize that about a few lakh students could be studying the same thing as you are, in different parts of the country.. that those students will probably be writing the same answer as you are, be sitting in the hall at the same time as you, with the same level of nervousness, and in the day the results are announced, be waiting with the same fear. And you're probably not gonna meet these people... ever. Who knows, your answer sheets could have passed each other's , could have been corrected in the same place.. you'll never know.
Well...I'd better get back to the partition of India... Remember : the Muslim League gave a call for direct action day from 16th August to achieve Pakistan. It was followed by a series of communal riots . More than 5000 people lost their lives.
Thanks Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Dadabhai Naroji, Surendranath Banerjea, etc... yeah even you Lord Dalhousie even though you kinda sucked.
Disclaimer - I'm not Indian. I just study there....
