You were once a stranger
Yet thereafter, we've known each other,
You became significant in my life,
You're the answer in my strife.
You've been there in my hardest days
Filling my emptied soul,
You're there, finding ways
Consoler has been your role.
A meaningful journey, we made,
On each other, we always cared,
All life's challenges, we conquered,
And now, you are all that mattered.
Now I wonder if you'll ever miss
My presence if I leave,
Or if I'll just be forgotten,
Like the fallen leaves, soon rotten.
If I was gone for a while,
Will you still grab my hand?
Or if I need shoulders to cry,
Will you still offer comforting hugs?
What if I'll be gone forever?
Will you look for me?
What if for this love, I'll surrender
Will you just let me be free?
And I asked myself,
What if you're the one who'll leave?
Will you come back as you promised?
Or I'll just be left, alone in this anguish.
