The last of the sunlight was fading and night falling upon the and for the first time in their third day being on this island there was a sound but not a sound they wanted to hear. the sound broke the dead silence of the evening and it just was a blood curling sound and the squad stopped in the middle of crossing the street and they started quickly looking around because whatever the sound was it echoed throughout the city's empty streets.
All hell broke loose in ten minutes of post sound because once the light faded away these things came out of what seemed like every nook and cranny towards our little squad and we didn't wait for them to get within 5 yards of us. All six of us opened fire on the nearest things coming towards us but the more we cut down the more things that replaced the fallen "WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF THIS AREA" shouted Tilley over the gun fired. "FALL BACK TO THE NEAREST SHELTER" I ordered.
We all kept backing up making sure the boy was still with us and you could see pure fear in his eyes. We came to a bar and the first one in was me to check if the coast is clear and then I brought Tony in and laid down cover fire for the rest of the squad to enter and then we started pushing every object we could against the door and we could hear the furious pounding of those things. "We need to get the hell out of here now"! said a winded Goodfellow "and how do you propose that we do that Goodfellow"?! replied a now mad Holt. "Calm down guys and lets think before that door gives away" said Tilley trying to calm everyone.
