  The girls were all excitedly in the stylist room, looking at the TV. The girls music video was going to be playing live. They had fallen asleep the day before before their mini album was released just 6 hours after their single. So far, all good comments. The girls were proud. They had a fan base forming and they debuted a day before.
  They let the livestream fill up with viewers. The comments kept coming in many different languages but all saying the same thing: "ASDFGHJKL. YAS QUEENS"
  Many had only listened to the main title track, Cushion. Many also listened to the secondhand lead track, T.O.P, which many said was already a hit. A lot of others took Twenty-Three as their favorite song.
Their self titled album, Ethereal, had been a success.
But now was not the time to celebrate and let out cries of happiness.
Now was time for the girls first variety show appearance. Rare and unique, the girls were one of the only groups that were appearing on Weekly Idol a day after debut.
"Guys!" Rae's breath almost hitched in her throat as the music video appeared on the screen. The intro played before Ahyoungs fresh face appeared with a cute smile. The entire reaction was filled with the girls complimenting each others beauty or voice and "Omo, I'm so pretty!"
"Girls! Head on into the van!" Kyung called into the room before walking out.
Sozie's eyes glinted with excitement as she grabbed Rae and Soyu, tugging them with her. Jay, Bora, Ahyoung and D.M followed. A chatter struck up about how Yoongi never showed up with boba tea for the girls. Yes, the girls found out. Jay was a bit more quiet on the subject, not wanting to draw attention to the fact that she had been talking to him.
  The drive to the building was silent as it was only midday and the girls were exhausted. Rae pulled out her camera and held it up at an angle. Without even turning she hit Sozie's arm softly.
  "Take a selca with me." Rae fixed her long hair, giving a soft smile to the camera. Sozie put her hand under her chin as a petal, winking gracefully at the camera. Rae took multiple selca's before a squeal rang out.
  "Omo..!" Surprising it came from the sweet Ahyoung. The girls looked out their window with curiosity.
  The van stopped and the girls manager stepped out. He opened the door to have a wave of (the coolest girl group ever) girls file out of the van. The maknae stumbled out, smoothing out her jeans. Jay linked arms with her and Sozie. Bora was in the front with Rae, Ahyoung and D.M. The leader walked down the stairs to see the cameras already rolling.
  "Weekly..Idol!" Only one called out. Coni was alone today because Doni had a schedule. The girls quietly got ready to go out as they were a little late for the broadcast.
  "This weeks idol.." Coni sighed. "I'm excited for this group. Welcome..Ethereal!"
  The girls walked in, Bora leading. They bowed respectfully before moving to the side.
  "Brrrraaah!" The MC spoke gibberish. The girls gave a confused look before Sozie snapped her fingers. The intro.
  "Aish you don't watch us.." Coni sighed.
  "Ani, ani.." Sozie quickly waved her hands. "Hana, dul..Out of this world!" The girls gave peace signs. "Annyeong, Ethereal-imnida." They all bowed in sync.
"Look at her over here.." Coni imitated Sozie flailing her hands. The dancer bluntly erupted into giggles. Doni looked taken a back as to why she was laughing.
"Is-is she okay?" Coni asked playfully at the other members. The girls nodded, helping Sozie calm herself.
Coni went back to being serious and looked at the camera.
"Ethereal is a new group from SMEntertainment. They debuted a day ago with.." He looked back at the girls. Soyu gave him a playful glare.
Coni laughed pointing at the youngest. "She looks mad.. Look at her." Coni turned, chuckling at her face. Soyu covered her smile with the back of hand
"Individual introductions?" Coni folded his hands, looking at the group.
"Ne.." Bora nodded and then looked at the camera. "Annyeonghaseyo, Ethereal's Robot Leader, Bora-imnida." She bowed. Coni looked towards the next member, chuckling.
"Annyeonghaseyo, lead vocal and dancer, Ahyoung-imnida." Ahyoung gave a sweet smile, bowing causing a comment of "Cute" to come from Coni.
"Annyeonghaseyo, Ethereal's lovely fairy-visual, Rae-imnida." Rae flashed a smile and a heart at the camera.
After the introductions, Coni paused.
"Before we continue this extra long broadcast, we have some..special guests joining us because Doni could not make it..here with Ethereal today, Welcome.."
"BTS!" The MC called. 'I Need You' played through the speakers as the boys filed in. They bowed to the girls and filed to the other side. After their introduction the girls clapped politely.
"Are you surprised at all?" Coni stepped forward looking at the girls. Most of them nodded their heads and others were just surprised.
"Well, welcome BTS and Ethereal to the third floor basement. Ethereal," Coni looked from the camera to the girls. "Back on topic, what is your debut song and what is it about?"
Jay spoke up as the mother of the group.
"Our debut song, Cushion, is an upbeat and fun song that shows off our individual talents. The story behind this capturing song is that a guy seems cold on the outside but is really a soft, romantic guy." Jay looked at the camera, explaining the song.
"She memorized all of that." Sozie spoke up, daringly.
This caused laughter to rise from both BTS and the MC.
"Well, for this special episode we will start with a hearteu battle!" Coni spoke up, as assistants moved chairs into the room before the recording started again.
"Hearteu Battle!" The groups cheered with the MC.
"Each BTS member will have a heart beat monitor connected to them. Ethereal, it is your job to raise their heartbeat the most. The highest overall heartbeat will win a prize." Coni explained. The girls nodded, understandingly.
Bora, as the leader, stepped up first. She gave a small glare back at Coni and he teasingly flinched. She gave a small smile before turning back to the boys.
She started singing Good Day which was..well her solo song. When it got to the high note riff, the boys eyes widened in amazement. She held it, her pitch going higher for a bit then she released the note. She ended at that, trying not to take up to much time.
"Omo..I got chills from that.." Jimin put a hand on his chest. Rap Monster agreed.
"Overall rounded score is...123." Coni sighed. The girls clapped softly for their talented leader as Bora headed back to her seat.
  "Yah- I wanna go!" Sozie eagerly raised her hand. Coni scoffed playfully.
  "Yah! Let me go!" He imitated her and the groups laughed politely.
  Sozie squinted annoyed before waddling up to the front. She couldn't do aegyo or anything cute. And she wasn't very..sexy. She was as close to 4D as you could get in this group.
  "I need music.." She waved at the crew behind the cameras. Almost instantly 'Dope' started playing. The boys cheered loudly.
  "yAS!" V shouted out of no where. The
  Sozie hit the chorus powerfully and the boys were shocked.
  "She's so thin..but she is doing it well." Rap Monster commented.
  As the music came to and end, she bowed.
  "Wow, she's good!" The boys were surprised and the girls proud. Overall heart beat: 126, due to the excitement.
  For the sake of the show, the girls moved through theirs quickly. Rae and Jay teamed up for an impersonation of the rappers in BTS.
  "Gat-dat-gurl." Rae depended her voice a bit to impersonate the Boy In Luv rap. J-Hope and Rap Monster laughed along with it. Jay impersonated Suga's rap in Dope. Suga gave a toothy smile before regaining his 'cool' composure.
And what was the rounded heart beat for this? 125, barely skimming Sozie's score. The boys were fired up now.
Next, the maknae stepped up. She had a smile across her face due to excitement. She faced the boys a little so that both the camera and they could see her. Her smile vanished and turned to a small pout.
"Oppa.." Soyu twirled her silver hair between her fingers, her voice coming out baby-pitched. "Oppa, I'm hungry." She held her stomach, scrunching her face together. Coni cringed at how annoying the voice was.
Soyu laughed a bit before straightening up and walking over to the boys. She crouched next to the Golden Maknae and put her hands under her chin.
"Oppa, buy me food?" She blinked cutely before her and her group members exploded into laughter. Jungkook covered his face as Jimin and V teased him.
And bAM. Rounded heart beat= 134. The highest score so far.
Soyu bowed to the boys and hurried to her seat.
"Yah- Jungkook, how was it?" Coni laughed, looking at the two maknae's.
Jungkook laughed, covering his mouth before speaking.
"Eh, it was cute.." He spoke awkwardly and then started laughing again.
Soyu straightened out her blouse and changed the subject.
"Ahyoung~!" She sing-singed. "Your turneu~"
Ahyoung had a straight face on and looked directly at Soyu with a murderous stare. Soyu flinched before the shy vocalist laughed. "Saranghaeso~" She walked past the maknae and gave her a hug before moving to the front. She gave the cue for music.
AOA's 'Miniskirt' came on and guess who jumped in?
J-Hope jumped up from his seat and started dancing with her. She kept laughing while dancing along with both groups clapping along.
"Go Ahyoung! Go Ahyoung!" Rae, Soyu and Sozie cheered, teasingly.
When the small section of the song ended, Ahyoung quickly made her way back to her seat.
It was silent for a moment.
"Daebak.." Coni sighed at the weird groups.
