Chapter 3: He's the one!

Danieza's POV

As we enter the mall I can't stop recalling Gray's words kanina.

"I'M BREAKING UP WITH YOU"

God why. Bakit nga ba? Hindi naman kami nagka problema these past dew weeks ah. Although recently lang napaka bipolar niya pero as his girlfriend of course it's my job to understand him right?

Pero ang part na nag holding hands sila ni Paula? THAT WAS TOO MUCH. And right in front of me. I admit napaka bitch ko kanina but I know that Gray knows I was just faking it. And I know that he knows I'm in pain right now.

"HEYYY! Earth to Danieza!" sabi ni Cerise while snapping her fingers in front of my eyes and beside my ears.

Di ko namalayan napatulala na pala ako. Ang sakit alalahanin eh. 

"Dan alam kong in shock ka pa sa mga nangyari. So how about we just chill for now and enjoy your single life for awhile?" sabi ni Raven sakin.

Cerise hit her with her elbow. Alam kong gusto ni Cerise na maghanap ako ng rebound because she doesn't want me to look like a fool in front of Gray and Paula.

And so do I.

"NO. I already made a decision diba? I'm going to look for a rebound. There's no way na hahayaan ko lang si Gray magpaka saya sa buhay niya habang ako nag mumukmok dito. There's no wayyy that's gonna happen." i told them while tearing up.

THIS IS HARDER THAN I THOUGHT.

"There's our girl." Cerise said proudly. I gave her a sly smile.

"Sabi ko nga hahaha so let us proceed now shall we? Step 1 of Mission Trophy Boyfriend! Cerise my love please elaborate." Raven said while giggling hahahaha she's so cute kahit mukha siyang alien.

I thought Trophy Boyfriends existed only in movies. I never expected i needed that thing in my life.

"We're going to research and stalk guys na inlove sayo or crush na crush mo noon pa. Ano? Game na tayo?" she asked us.

"GAME!" Raven and I answered in chorus. 

We went to starbucks and ordered our fave drinks then we sat on our fave seats. I started to stalk my friend's list in facebook to look for any guy. 

Cerise and Raven were doing the same thing. 

Nagulat na lang ako when my classmate just texted. 

From: Kei

"Hey Danieza? A middle aged guy came here looking for Gray. I thought maybe you should know kahit  wala na kayo. The guy looks creepy dan. HE LOOKS LIKE A SERIAL KILLER! REALLY!"

Errr, sorry Kei but for now iiwas muna ako sa mga bagay na connected kay Gray.

Pero someone looking like a serial killer is seeking for my love? I mean my ex? Well hopefully papatayin niya si Gray.

Kidding. I can't live without that man. Ugh i hate myself right now.

I just shook off the thought of me na nagpapakatanga sa kanya.

I continued looking for guys haha nakaka panibago. I don't do this very often. I was very loyal to Gray nung kami pa. Hayyy this will be a very long year.

It took quite some time but still wala pa talaga kaming makita until..

"Hey nerd." said some guy behind my back.

"Hey nerd answer us" i looked behind and I saw that guy earlier yung binubully? It was him surrounded by huge guys.

"Hey I said answer us" the seem-to-be leader of their gang was already holding his necktie and i thought that was not very nice of him. So I stood up.

"Yo schoolmate okay ka lang?" I asked the threatened man.

But yung bully and sumagot, "Yes schoolmate okay lang ako hehe nakakairita kasi itong nerd nato. Hindi siya bagay sa mga classy na lugar tulad nito eh." aba gago to ah.

Cerise and Raven just watched me. They know I can't stand these kind of situations. Swerte to si victim-of-bullies-guy at nasa mood ako para makipag away.

"Teka, schoolmate ba kita? Because as far as I'm concerned I was not asking you, I was asking Ian" Ah so Ian Salvador pala ang name niya. I saw his ID. Good thing it was there.

"W-w-what? Oo uhm schoolmate mo ako. In fact magkatabi lang tayo ng rooms eh" he said while scratching his nape at mukhang napahiya nga siya. Oh well he deserves this.

His squad started to laugh at him. But he glared at them so they stopped.

"Ganun ba? Hindi kasi kita nakita eh. Maybe because you're way too low for my level. Anyway let go of my friend right now." i told him.

He gave me a scary look but I wasn't affected by it. Manhid ako ngayon. I glared back at him and that made him leave together with his squad.

"Uhm Danieza thank you ah" Ian said.

"Hakuna matata." that means "No worries" by the way hahahaha

"Gosh! LIGHT BULB!" Cerise shouted while looking at us.

Nashock lahat ng tao sa place pati rin ako. Nakakahiya ghaaaaad!

"Cerise quiet down! Anong lightbulb?" Raven hissed at her embarrassedly.

"HE'S THE ONE!" Cerise shouted with confidence and victory pointing to the nerd in front of me.

NO WAY.

"M-m-m-me?" Ian said with a confusing tone, pointing to himself.

LET THE TRANSFORMATION BEGIN!
