Simon's POV
I was so angry at myself for not asking Lucy if she had a boyfriend. Obviously I liked her. She's so pretty and humorous and had tons of personality. If she and I were alone last night drunk I would have done something I would regret. The journey was awkward and Lucy was panicked, I could see her leg shaking and she wouldn't stop playing with her fingers.
"Hey Lucy, you okay?" I asked, she looked so scared when she looked up at me. "Lucy?" I asked when she didn't answer. She had a single droplet of tears fall of her cheek and onto her trousers. She wiped the rest away and stared out of the window. God knows what wrong with her right now.
Skipping journey
As Lucy and I arrived the car park she was tense. She exited the car and said bye and attempted to walk away from me, I jumped outta the car and started to silently walk behind her. I know it seemed creepy but I had to see who she was afraid of. As I followed her up the stairs, I could see her curl her fingers into a ball and made a fist. She didn't know I wad behind her, seeing everything.
When she got to her floor her breath was heavy, I could her it quite away from her. As she walked down the corridor I saw a slender shadow hanging around her door. She looked at him and I could see angry and hatred in his eyes. Then he slapped her across the face forcing her to fall onto the floor crying and holding her face. He made her look and him as he asked where she was last night. His voice was like sandpaper; harsh and raspy. She cried as she said she was at a party.
He slapped her again and I had enough of hiding I quickly told Tobi to come down to her level immediately.
"Stop hitting her!" I shouted across the corridor. His neck clicked as he looked at me, then he power walked towards me with his fists clenched.
"And you are?" He asked, a few centimeters away from my face.
"Right now, a savior for Lucy, and you are?" I stated, shocked at how confident my voice sounded.
He smirked. "William, Lucy's boyfriend. So if I were you I would turn my skinny arse away before I make you."
I was scared but seeing Lucy on the floor crying hysterically made something change in me. In my brave voice I said;
"Fight me."
