*Matthews POV*
2 DAYS LATER
After only texting Aubree for a few days, I tried to think of a way to ask her to live with me. Do I just ask her straight up, or do I make her ask me? I just wish she would actually need somewhere to stay. I mean, how would I know if she wants to get out of that apartment? Might as well just call her. I pick up the phone and speed dial her. It rings twice and she answers the phone. "Hello?" She says. "Hey, how are you doing?" I reply. "I'm doing fine, I guess. How about you?" "Great, actually. My house seems really empty though." "Do you need some more furniture or something?" Dammit, she wasn't getting the idea. "I'm meaning by people. You know, like, its just me all by myself." "Are you trying to tell me you don't have any friends? I know you do so don't lie to me, haha." Why is she not getting the idea? "I want you to come live with me." I surprised myself when I said that. I didn't wanna hear the reply. "Uh, Matthew, we've only been dating for like a week. You really think were ready to move in together? I mean, if you need somebody to come stay with you I will but-" "No, no, I don't need someone to come live with me, I meant that to come out as a suggestion. Like, hey come stay with me, if you wanna." I hear my voice get quieter as I speak. "Are you sure? I'll come over right now and we can talk about it." She was being so sweet, I didn't want to tell her I didn't really mean it when I said 'I want you to come live with me'. Don't get me wrong, I would love that, but I'm good here all alone. "Alright baby, I'll be here waiting." I say softly. "Okay, I love you!" She says. "I love you too, bye." I hang up and wait.

*Aubrees POV*
I walk up the stairs to Matthews house. I haven't really gotten used to this place yet, but when I do it'll be when I'm moved in. I give a little knock and the door swings open fast. "There's my girl!" Matthew says while opening his arms for me to hug him. I wrap my arms around his neck and I rest my head on his chest. I really needed this hug. We both sit on the couch and start talking about how we are gonna settle things. "So, do you really want me to move in?" I ask. "Of course, but I want you to know that I didn't really mean it when I said I need you to come live with me. It would be great to have you here, but I thought over how you said we've only been dating for a week and you're right. Maybe in a few months we'll be able to get comfortable enough," Matthew explains. "But I now don't think its the right time." I feel a little bit of sadness, but I'm glad he actually listened to me. I think he can tell I'm a little sad because he says, "Don't get me wrong you can totally come stay if you want I'm not saying you can't." I smile and say, "I think we can wait a few months." Matthew nods his head and hands me an envelope. Its addressed to Matthews house, I don't know why he's handing it to me. I open it and read the paper. It says:

Dear 'Glass Eye',
Hello. I am Bernie Woods from Interscope Records. I've sent you this letter to inform you about your outstanding job at your $15 concert. In my opinion, it should've been $100. I recorded some songs to share and we would like to sign you up for a record deal. This offer ends 6/15/13.

Best Regards,
Interscope Records

"Oh my gosh, Matthew!" I yell while hugging the shit out of him. "I can't believe it either!" He shouts back. "Have you told anyone else yet?" "No, I just got this today and you're the only person I've been able to tell." "Well let's call everyone over here, it'll be a very good day."
