~~~~~~~~ Billy's P.O.V.
I paced back and forth. I haven't slept for a week, nor eaten. I stay fairly hydrated. The thing that bothers me is she hasn't woken up. "I hope to all that is holy and perfect, You better wake up otherwise I have some hunting to do for that cat," I mumble hearing the door open. No one is home today so I peek out to see Jeff and Old Man McGucket coming towards her room.

"This is it," McGucket said opening the door, Jeff hopping up on the bed.

I lean against the door. I hear a sob and some tears hit the mattress. I snicker, the two turned to look at me, "She would not give up that easily," I walk up brushing hair from her face.

Jeff looks at me, "Bill look if you know away to get her back go right ahead. Please do something other than watch us suffer."

I open Karoline's eye. Her pale yellow eye looks back. I let the eyelid close, "If I do try and help you better be ready to catch this vessel."

"Why?"

"Because I need to enter her mindscape and in order to I need to leave this body here. Catch it so it doesn't crush her, Got it?" I get a nod from the two. I let out a sigh placing one hand on my left eye, the other on her right. I mutter an incantation, "Entrer dans l'esprit de cet enfant." My vision goes blank and my eye starts to burn. I blink my eye open to see complete darkness. I teleport myself to where Karoline is to witness her biggest nightmares.

----------- Karoline's P.O.V.

I stared at the scared thing in front of me. The thing was me two years ago. I was covered in scars and burn marks. I started tearing up because I couldn't escape it's daunting self. My instinct was to cover my face. When I moved my hands from my face I saw Bill in his cute little triangle form. I call it cute because of his cute little feet. "Kid! Now is not the time to call me cute!"

"Whoops," I mutter.

"You forget I can hear your thoughts?" He said in a sarcastic manner. He swipes his hand making the creature disappear.

"I- Thank you," is the only thought and words coming from my mouth.

"You know a way you can thank me? Wake up!" Bill shouts. It shakes me but I try next thing I know is I'm being held in an embrace by McGucket, Jeff and Bill. I weakly smirk. "Nice job, knucklehead."

============= Time skip

After Jeff and McGucket leave Bill said he was going to call Stan and the twins to say I was alright. This gave me about 3 minutes alone. I get up, I stumble in doing so. I walk into the bathroom and look for my razor. It helps, it is kind of like beer and cigarettes. They may not be good for you but it relieves you. I pull the razor across my skin. The skin peels back releasing droplets of blood. I let out a sigh of relief.

A knock on the door startles me, "Hey you ok?" Bill seemed worried.

I whimper, but answer, "Yeah, I-I'm fine."

"You're lying," he puts it bluntly.

"No, I'm fine."

The door jiggles since I locked it. "I will break this door down, you're not fine." A thump against the door, "Don't do anything you'll regret. I'll be back in five seconds."

1. . . I don't need him. My vision darkens.

2 . . . . I will regret telling him. I watch blood drip down my arm.

3 . . . . . My eye is burning. I see some sort of white light in the room.

4 . . . . . . I regret not saying anything. I see Bill grabbing gauze and wrapping it around my arm.

5 . . . . . . . I want you to know I lo- like you. I drift into unconsciousness.

-------------Bill's P.O.V.

I feel tears running down my cheek after she drifts off. I pull her unconscious body into my chest. I hate these feelings inside me. She had old scars and now she will have new ones. I want her to stop. My tears mix into her hair. 'She smells like maple syrup,' I lean back in the bathroom, holding Karoline close to my chest. I feel my eyelids become heavy. Sleep becomes taunting. I close my eyes making her a one-sided deal. "I will never leave you."
