Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Mistakes

Let me tell you how it all began.

My mum was drunk and hooked up with a random guy on August 15th of 1997. And let’s just say things took off pretty quick from there. The next day, Mum not remembering anything felt pains in her stomach and went to the drug store to find something to cure it. She then found out that she was pregnant with me a few weeks later when out and about with her sister. Mum couldn’t find a way to tell the guy until 9 months later when she was in the hospital moaning and groaning in pain from giving birth. I remember hearing yelling and cursing that day. It was 4am. No wonder why people were grumpy.

*3 years later*

Once again my mum was ou,t and drunk with her family.This time she brought me along with her and left me wondering outside at midnight. I started to cry because I needed a diaper change. A woman had found me and brought me to her house. I was greeted by a five year old who didn’t stop jabbering. The lady called the police and my birthmum was sent to rehab.

*Previous day, May 6th, 2013*

My brother stormed into my room slapping me, hard on the face and cursing so much. I started to cry and he yelled.

I yelled back in frustration, “make me.” The next thing I know he’s throwing all of my clothes and shoes and hats into a duffel bag and zips it. He then throws the bag down the stairs knocking me over. I didn’t understand why a sweetheart like him couldbbe suck a . I was about to find. I calmly walked into the kitchen with my now fully loaded suitcase and asked quietly, “Do you love me mum?” I heard no respond. My mum turned around with blood gushing from all over her face and screamed in pain

“GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE!”

I guess I was sobbing a lot now so I rushed out of the house and took off sprinting. I wasn’t too fast because of the duffel bag. I kept running for what seemed like hours until I came across an abandoned house-or so I thought.

Ooh hope you guys enjoyed this first chapter.

I was about to cry writing it.
