Chapter 4

Chapter 4: Emergency

"Come on now, we can hug later."

I let go and fell to the floor. I didn’t know what happened. I didn't move. He must've noticed, stopping in the frame of the door.

I was surprised at what he did next.

He walked over to me and picked me, bridal style. I didn't say a word. I felt his warmth and a sense of urgency as he quickened his pace and ran down stairs. I was still bawling my eyes out as we got into the living room. I tried to speak but nothing came out. I kept getting sadder and sadder. I heard someone yell,

"Get her to the hospital!"

The next I know we're all in a light blue sports van speeding down the streets. I was unaware of everything at this point. I didn't know what was going on. Everything went dark.

*KIAN'S P.O.V*

The room was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. The new girl, I don't know her name, was sitting on my lap and bawling her eyes out. I stayed quiet for a few minutes, not wanting to frighten her. I felt sad looking down her. I spook up not wanting to see her cry anymore and said, "Come now, I don't like seeing a pretty girl like you crying." I heard the sobbing stop and she looked up at me. She was about to say something when we both heard yelling from the living room. I whispered to her, "Quick get in the closet." She tiptoed into the closet and I shut the door once she was in and listened to the argument.

"WHAT  DID YOU TO MY SISTER?"

"I DID NOTHING "

"THEN WHY ISN'T SHE HERE! I SEE HER LUGGAGE AND EVERYTHING."

"SHE RAN AWAY FROM YOU. YOU"

"SUUUURE."

"GET OUT OF MY FACE NOW!"

"THEN GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"

"UGH! I'LL BE BACK!"

Once it was safe to come out I opened the door and said, "Come out now. You're okay. He's gone." I heard light footsteps as she came out. She stood at the frame, thinking.  I couldn't help it, I engulfed her into a hug. A few minutes later I heard sobbing. I didn't like to her like that. I said, "Now what did I tell you before?" She stopped but tightened her grip on my waist. I smiled to myself about this. I didn't want to let her go. She was so beautiful and amazing. Her eyes, made me think of the ocean. They were sea green, with a hint of fear. Her smile it reminded me of when I met Andrea. Andrea! Crap I forgot she was my girlfriend. I quickly made an excuse for her let go. I let go of her, not wanting it to end and said, "Awe c'mon, I gotta go make dinner." That made her grip tighter, wow she's strong.  I tried another one, "We can hug later." I slowly walked to the door looking over my shoulder. A few seconds later I heard a THUD! I spun around at lightning speed and saw that she was now on the ground. I rushed over to her not wanting anything bad to happen. I bent down and picked her, bridal style. She was crying and unable to speak. I rushed down to the living room and once I got there Trevor practically shouted, "Get her to the hospital, now!"

We all rushed out to the car, crap! She can't fit in with us! Jc told me to put her on my lap as we gathered into the car. A few minutes later all of us were speeding down the streets in LA. We had rushed to the nearest hospital. Thankfully it was only 5 minutes away. Once we got there We all filed out and I had her in my arms. As we rushed into the building everyone but me took a seat as I ran to the front desk. I took the lady, "I need a doctor for this girl!" She saw how bad the girl looks and quickly called for a gurney and all of the doctors. Thank god it was barely crowded. The doctor told me lay her down the bed and let her be. Right they were going to roll her away she murmured, "Connor." All of us must've been quite shocked because Connor slowly stood up and walked over to the gurney. She had her hand out as he grabbed it.
