I stepped off the plane into a new realm. A new place for me to explore. I was in London, I had finally made it to London, after years of pining to be here, I finally made it. Of course I came with three of my friends, and we are going to study at University, but we are still in London.
I followed Katie as she practically led us all into the airport. Once we reached the doors, I stopped and looked around.
"Wait, where's Erin?" I asked my voice leaking with concern.
We all stopped and looked around until we spotted her standing by the plane still. Seemed to just be taking in the scenery.
"Erin!" Katie called out to her, pulling her out of the spell she was under. She turned and looked toward us, and ran to catch up. I looked around to everyone, and saw they all had the same exact smiles on their faces as I did. We pulled open the doors, to the airport, and he doors to our new life.
"So guys, what should we do first? I think we should just wander for a bit, get used to everything." Katie stated, kind of taking charge. Not that I minded, I was too tired to do anything of the sort. I really wanted to play some video games, or sit in a quiet place and draw. Although, writing was always an option, too. I really just enjoyed anything that involved being creative. We should really just go back to our apartment first, and then plan everything out.
"We can map out what we want to do after we go to our new apartment, or should I say 'flat'?" Ariel saying flat made us all giggle, we giggled as we made our way through the airport to the baggage claim and getting our luggage.
"Hey guys! I think we should go to a duck pond and feed the ducks!" Becca nearly screams with excitement, as she pulls a sweater over her head. Being Becca, of course she was cold.
"I am thinking of going to a Zoo actually. I heard they have this really cool zoo here in London, it's like the world's oldest scientific zoo, or something." Erin stated, although I could see the partial lie in her eyes. She was in fact going for the animals, but also really wanted to meet some hot guys. That'd be kinda fun, but you could pick up a real douche at a place like that. I'd wanna go to a comic shop, or an arcade. Actually an arcade sounds fun.
I hailed a cab and we all shoved ourselves into the back of the cab, leaving little room between each other. I gave him our new address and turned to all the girls with a slight smirk set upon my face. "I really think we should go visit an arcade, those are lots of fun!"
"I kind of want to go on the tube." Katie stated simply. Somehow, with such a simple statement, it caused us all to be forced into fits of giggles. And because of our nature, our giggles turned into roars of laughter. We continued to laugh, even when Erin was dissolved to tears because of the laughing. Her bottom lip and chin quivering, her entire face super red. We laughed the entire way to our apartment building, and I paid the cabbie, giving him a hefty tip, due to having to listen to us laugh so much.
We grabbed our luggage and calmed ourselves before entering the lobby. I felt so giddy, being on my own, with just my friends, in London. London is where, like all my favorite Youtubers live, too. Maybe, one day I will run into one!
We calmly walked to the elevator, or lift, rather, and Becca pushed the button to go to the 34th floor. Yes, the 34th floor. I will never be walking up or down that. Ever.
We all looked at each other, excitement radiating off of us in waves, as the lift shot up.
Once it stopped and made a little 'ding' to let us know we were on our floor, we waited rather impatiently for he door to open. When it opened we all ran down the hall to our new apartment.
Katie took her keys and slid it into the appropriate place, and pushed the door open. The open door revealed a very plain looking apartment, full of boxes. Although, it being plain was to be expected. I will just have to hang some posters and make it more 'homey'.
