Chapter 4 - He's not that bad

I woke up to the alarm beeping continuously.

" Shut up! I'm trying to get some sleep." I mumbled, pressing the snooze button.

The same thing happened again after every five minutes. Soon, it was 7.45 am and school starts at 8!
I ran to the bathroom took a quick shower and went to the closet.

What should I wear? Now's not the time, School is starting in 15 mins!!

Not knowing what to wear, I took out a pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt that says 'T.G.I.F' yes it's Friday and I'm grateful for that. I put my hair up into a messy ponytail and chose a pair of black sandals.

Dashing out of the house, I made sure I locked the door. I ran as fast as I could to the bus stop. The bus normally comes at 7.50 and by the time I reached the bus stop it was 7.55. The bus had left. :(

It normally takes 20-25 mins to walk to school. And I'm definitely gonna be late. So I had to run. I ran for about 5 minutes and I'm starting to pant already .
Suddenly, I heard a honk. Turning around, I saw a yellow Mustang making its way towards me. The driver scrolled down the window and I immediately recognized the face of the driver. Jake Henderson.

"Need a ride to school? Or is the good girl going to be late?" he asked teasingly.

I rolled my eyes and said "Yes please! I would appreciate it a lot if you would drive me to school instead of me getting detention."

"Hop on!" he kept his reply short.

Entering his car, it smelt like vanilla. How nice! Didn't know that he would like the smell of vanilla.
The car ride to school was silent. Recognizing the area that we are reaching school already, I immediately told him

"umm, you can drop me off here, I'll just walk to school. It's very near anyways."

"Why would I want to drop you off here? Like you said it's very near so why would you choose to walk to school? Is it because you find it very embarrassing to go to school with me?" He asked a little offended?

"No,no. Don't get me wrong. It's just that you know you're the bad boy and you're going to school with me, your reputation would be ruined." I said hoping he would understand.

He smirked and said, " so you care for me? Thanks! But I don't want you to be late for school so just stay put in the car until we reach school. okay?"

I nodded in reply. He can be quite nice sometimes. Soon we reached school, when we got off his car, everybody was staring. like, what the hell is their problem? Don't they have their lives?? And most of the girls were shooting dagger eyes at me. I ignored them and walked to my locker.

Turning around, I said, "thanks for the ride!"

He winked in reply. Boys.

First period : English
Looking at my timetable just spoilt my mood for the whole day. English is the most boring class ever.
Taking out some English books from my locker, the bell rang. I immediately went to the classroom and thank god I wasn't late.

Hey guys! Sorry it's been such a long time since I updated (actually it's not that long right). This is a very short chapter and I will try to update more often as I have just finished my term reviews. Hope you like the story so far! ;)
