Crowds gathered outside TRF at 10 am. "What is it this time?" Ryan from HRDL complained. He had been trying to catch up on lost sleep but it was impossible with this ruckus. Whispers and rumours spread across the room. Some say a burglar died, some say Steve died, some even more tired say that there were humanoids roaming around.
Steve took a good 5 minutes to calm everyone down. "It's all fine guys, the police will handle it."
"When did this happen?" One guy asked.
"We suspect around 3-5 am."
"What are your thoughts on this happening to one of your staff? How are you going to account to their family members?
"We acknowledge the security guard was just doing his job. We feel deeply sorry for his family members, and we will help pay for any psychological treatment they may need."
The news soon spread. A burglar tried to break into the office to steal one of the blueprints from HRDL. The security guard tried to stop the burglar and got killed in the process. Ryan let out a deep sigh, "Well I'm lucky the security guard protected me. I'll remember to give my condolences to his family. Hmm... How would he know that 18-digit code though..."
"Give me all the footage of cctv pointing at the front door of the building. I will watch it with the police to assist in investigations," Steve says with a weary voice.
"From when to when, Steve?" Mark asks.
"3 am to 5 am. Make sure the cctv footage has a crystal clear view of the front door. We need positive confirmation of the identity of the burglar," Steve orders.
"Yes sir, I will see it done." Mark stopped. "Oh did you hear about the humanoid? Someone said they saw a girl and a humanoid walk out."
