I am often caught in conversations of spirituality and contemplations of the after life. For a long time I had no answer, but with the permission of time, comes a sort of bestowed ideal. Time, makes something of us all, I suppose. I was raised Christian for many years, but something never quite felt right. One night, I had one too many drinks, and i was once again asked that philosophical question focusing on a higher power. Admiring the universe through my telescope, I had finally reached my own original conclusion.

I responded

"I watched jupiter for hours as it came from the nights horizon and departed with the morning sky and i realized, This is the God i believe in. Whether fictitious in nature or a brilliant engineer of incomprehensible design capability, is a thought to ponder on. belief in a deity or not, none of mankind should escape the wonderment of the immaculate conception of the universe. Skepticism or religious ignorance set a aside. The knowledge of the existence of the cosmos is fundamentally present in all who posess a surrounding sense. And gratitude to either natural physical principles, or a creator should be easily understood and presented by every one of us. The world is a gift, and the universe, the future our generations tend to squander. It is our obligation to accept it graciously and allow providcene to pave the path of the Earth born species."

I know not whether there is a God or if we are alone, but I have learned one thing. No matter what the situation. If our presence is noted, it is each and everyone of our responsibilities to engage fully in what is required of us. Not to waste opportunity, and certainly not to wallow in self doubt. With such little time, our every action is paramount to the future.
