The King Of Chains

"What exactly stabbed you?"

"I was sure it was Akame who stabbed me with her sword ... Murasame. How is that possible that I'm still alive ........ Ryūketsu", I stared down at my sword which was still in my grasp.

"You didn't let go of it the whole time. Even when we came you still had it in your hands", Sakura sighed.

"Ryūketsu, is this that other trump card?" I smiled. "I love you! That's my sword people! The one that saved me from death!"

"Not really, you're heart was still pumping but you were badly injured. Is it that your sword can keep you alive but not heal the wounds causing your death? I'm surprised you're not afraid of using such a weapon. There's no information about it all, hardly."

"I'm glad I met you two. I found out two new trump cards my sword can do! I'm so excited for the next one!"

"Aren't you afraid if one of the trump cards can do something you don't want it to do? You're sword already grants you wishes, what else do you want?!" Jaune yelled.

"You're just jealous!" I joked as I jumped out and picked up my sword heading for the door.

"No, I am not jealous!" Jaune stopped me. "What if that sword would kill someone just by saying their name? What if it has a time limit and will kill you after it breaks? What if it's holding everyone's life in it?"

"You want me to prove that my sword can do none of those?" I yelled. "Ryūketsu, kill the one before me, Jaune!" I pointed my sword at Jaune but nothing happened.

"You didn't even break a sweat did you?" Jaune asked looking as she was about to cry. "You didn't even hesitate to try it out on your new teammate? You're so cruel!" Jaune ran out of the room with her eyes full of tears.

"Jaune wait!" I turned to Sakura seeing a frown on her face. "Sakura, you've gotta help me. Can you-"

"Jaune's right, how can anyone be so careless?" Sakura walked out leaving me alone.

"What's wrong with them? Ryūketsu would never do a thing ...." I looked down at my sword seeing a dark aura surround it. Suddenly a vine stretched out of the ruby in the centre of the sword. It looked exactly like the one that was wrapped around it when I first saw it. It wrapped around my arm. For some reason, I couldn't move at all. It grew vein liked vines around my right arm up to my eye.

"Jan!" Jaune jumped in and used her Imperial Arm to slap my sword off my hand (hair changes back to black). I fell onto the ground breathing heavily. "What did I tell you about that-" Jaune yelled at me but stopped when she looked at my eye. "Your eye", Jaune gasped as if she's seen a ghost.

I looked in the mirror seeing my left eye is red like normal  but my left eye was black! What ... what's going on? Why is this happening to me? I looked down at my right hand seeing a red pearl locked in a gold cage wrapped onto my hand with a ruby red ribbon. I tried taking it off but it wouldn't budge.

"What just happened?" Sakura walked in.

"Sakura, you look ... different. Or is it because I feel dizzy?" I placed my hand on my head and closed my eyes.

"Nope, it's not just you. Sakura has definitely changed somehow", Jaune placed her hand on my forehead.

"What are you talking about?" Sakura looked into the mirror letting out a blood-curdling scream. "Why do I have red hair?!"

"Seriously? What about your outfit? And everything else?"

The Next Month On The Cliff Of Rensa

"You ready?" I asked as I took a step forward.

"Ready as I'll ever be!" Sakura smiled. We walked closer to the edge of the cliff and took a deep breath. I sensed a dark aura coming from behind us so I swiftly took out my sword and threw it at my target.

"You've become slow, Jan. What a pity!" The aura turned out to be the King of chains himself!

"Do I know you?" I asked.

"Your memory is completely empty. I'm not here for trouble at all." He gave me a smiled at me and walked closer. "I'm only here for one thing." Before he was able to say what it was Jaune charged at him and Sakura followed. He dodged both of their attacks and threw two daggers at them. Sakura deflected them both with her chain. "It's rude not to let someone finish his sentence you know?"

"Behind you." My sword missed since he dodged my attack. "It's no use, he's too fast .... but I'm faster", I charged at him seeing that he hasn't moved at all. "Your time is up!"

"Yep, too slow after all!"

"Jan!" I heard a faint scream from Jaune and Sakura. I looked down at my chest seeing a sword pierced in from my back. I fell to the ground as if I was dead.

Sakura's POV

She'll be alright, right? What if her trump card only works once? I looked at the woman who stabbed Jan. She didn't look like the one in the picture but if he has backup then we have to be more cautious.

"This is my dear sister. She's an amazing swords woman so be careful", his sister charged at Jaune leaving me alone with him.

I wrapped my Chain around his neck easily as I commanded him to surrender. He gave me a smirk and opened up the chains easily and pulled it away from me. "Why do you think they call me The King Of Chains? This was my Imperial Arm before. Did you not know this? I know all its secrets, I can even control the owner." The chains changed to the exact form of the one in the picture. He aimed it at me so I squeezed my eyes and flinched a bit. It took too long so I opened my eyes to see what was going on.

"Jan! What are you doing?!" She was alive! She blocked the chain from me. I can see the chain wrapped around her slowly get tighter making her arm start to bleed. She held onto her chest as blood dropped from it. "You're already injured, I can do this!"

"You guys really are weak", she joked as blood dripped from her mouth. "I knew I should have taken this job by myself."

"Stop saying that!" I unwrapped the chain and helped her to safety. "Stay here." I walked back to the King.

"Sakura, what are you doing? Come back, you guys can't defeat them. Don't leave me!"

"Sorry Jan, but things have to be done for the people you love." I knew I was already going to die. Goodbye.
