'Superman'... I repeated his name in my head as we continued to look into each others eyes. I can't believe I'm getting breath taken by this stranger I just met, who's also a guy. When I looked at the other guys on the street I never felt like this nor have I ever felt like this.

"Ah," Superman groaned in pain as a green beam shot him in the back. "Kryptonite..." He mumbled falling to his knees but I still held onto him not wanting to let him go. I looked at the person responsible but it looked more like a machine.

"It's amazing how much a rock can affect you Superman," The robot looking thing said as he walked closer. "It looks like one man's weakness is another man's life source. It's over Superman."

"Run..." Superman whispered to me as he tried to push himself up. I looked back at the robot and he was about to fire another shot of Kryptonite at Superman. This just made me angry and I wouldn't allow this piece of junk to hurt him.

The robot fired the shot and I quickly got in front of Superman. Using my enchanted silver wrist couplings I was able to reflect the green beam. "You wont lay another hand on Superman or else you'll be turned into scrap metal," I threatened as I stood my ground in between Superman and the robot.

"I didn't think you'd need a body guard Superman," The robot laughed as he spoke. "An look is he wearing a crown... who do you think you are?" I frowned my eyes and reached for my lasso, with fast movement I threw the lasso towards him.

The lasso wrapped around the robot's hand and I pulled him towards me. I gripped my fist and struck the bloody machine in it's metal face. The lasso unwrapped itself from the robot as it flew back, smashing into a nearby building. "I'm Wonder Warrior!" I yelled out as the name just came to my head out of nowhere. Prince Harry would've been a more conceded title. I turned to look at Superman as he got up on his feet.

"It's not over yet," Superman stated as he looked passed me. I turned and saw the robot coming out of the broken building. Damn... I thought that punch would've done it. "He can regenerate his metal body. We need to take the Kryptonite out of his chest. That's the only way to stop Metallo." He walked to my side as he told me exactly what we had to do.

Something about that green rock makes Superman uneasy. Even Metallo said it himself, that green rock is Superman's weakness and also Metallo's life scource. I have to do what I can to make sure that Superman doesn't get hit with another one of those green beams.

"Sounds easy enough," I replied with a sort of playful tone. "I can tell that the mear sight of the rock weakens you. Allow me to dispose of this metal monster." Without letting Superman answer I ran straight towards Metallo.

Metallo shot another one of those grean beams at me but I reflected it again. I jumped up and rose my foot as I came back down to slam it onto him. The pavement cracked at my force but Metallo moved out of the way. The sound of a chainsaw made me turn just in time to move out of the way.

His hand turned into a chainsaw but I had my eyes locked onto that green rock shown in his chest. Metallo tried using his chainsaw on me but I caught his hand far from the sharp part. He raised his other hand and turned it into a sword. Before he could use it I grabbed his forearm tightly.

"You can't protect him," Metallo stated as he tried to over power me. "Just because your trying to protect him doesn't make you anything special. Give it up." His tone serious and a little bit desperate.

I frowned at the word give up... The Amazons used to tell me that everyday a long time ago. But I wanted to prove to them that not all men were evil and that I could be one of them. If I would of given up back then, I wouldn't be here fighting Metallo to protect a guy that takes my breath away.
