I was walking around a furniture store looking for a sofa to buy for my new house. This furniture store looked small from the outside but in reality the inside was huge.
I already knew the exact couch I wanted. I wanted it to be a dark color so it would stand out in my light colored living room.
So far all of the couches at the store were white, peach, tan, cream and gray. I didn't see any dark colored couches so I decided to ask a worker for help.
"Excuse me sir", I said to the worker, "yes", he replied. "Do you know where the dark colored couches are located", I asked.
Then he laughed, a belly laugh that is. "I'm sorry we don't sell any dark colored couches here", he said. I didn't understand what was so funny but thanked him for his 'help'.
