"She left?" He said gently

Connie nodded and remained looking out the window by the bed "she took her own life, she didn't feel she was the best person to care for me, and her and my father were so on, off, that she didn't want to bother him with her thoughts"

"Oh connie" he said and kissed her shoulder

"Don't. I felt you deserved to know, I don't wish to discuss it..."

He nodded "if you ever do, I'm here..."

Connie nodded slowly and moved up to look at him "thank you... Thank you for not judging me"
