All of them gathered at the rooftop except for Joseph who flew in from above 3 minutes later. Haltman started to tell them about what has happened between them and also Blaze and Nikita.

'You were all born on this date in the same hospital when there was an eclipse. You were all chosen by the powers of the 'deck'. Each of you were given a card which had specific powers. The cards are currently imprinted onto your body in the form of a birthmark on your left shoulder. The tattoos are the cards way of telling you your gifts. Your powers are appearing now because it's your 18th birthdays.'

'Ana, yours is persuasion and the mastermind, the brains as you would say. Strategy planning will mostly come from you.'

'Lora, you have an innate connection to plants and animals while Joseph has the ability to fly and also strength.'

'Xeon, yours is force fields and invisibility while Sunny's powers is speed, light and somehow the positive vibes guy.'

'As for Nikita and Blaze, she has the power to control water and objects whereas Blaze can yield fire and read minds. He is predicted to be very powerful and unpredictable at times, so please try not to get on his bad side. Thankfully, he has Nikita as his partner, to cool him down.'

'Your powers are an extension of who you are. And there are specific reasons why you were...to protect the world.', Haltman continues. 

 Joseph exclaimed, 'What do you mean partners?!', while Ana demanded, 'Save the world, my ass!'.

Haltman replied, 'To answer your question Joseph, each of you will be linked to the opposite of you for balanced. It's similar to the concept of yin and yang. Blaze and Nikita are a pair. When she was healing him, she made a connection with his soul when she wasn't prepared for it yet. They have 'connected'. And as we speak now, they are both watching each other's life story, learning about each other's past and most probably talking to each other via their link. It's part of the process of getting to know your partners better. I had to put them in the shield so that each of their pulses can be monitored and stabilized.'

Lona quietly asks, 'So, who is my partner?'.

'You will know in due time. It will take a lot of mental training before you connect with your partner or you will end up like Nikita and Blaze.

'The rings you wear enhances your gifts. It contains an energy that has been passed down from generations before you. No one else can wear it unless you give them your permission. Each ring has been design to suit your elements. Wear it at all times because without it, you and your powers will fade and it is then time to pass on the power to the next generation.'

Everyone was speechless, some confused by what Haltman has unloaded to them.

'Why is your hair white? What is your power? And who are you?!' asked Ana.

He grinned at her which made her heart skip a beat. 'That's because I am all of you in terms of the colours of the rainbow. I once had all your powers before you were born. But it was too much to carry and that's when I decided it was time for me to split it between the 7 of you. My hair is white because of the strain of holding on to all 7 powers for so long...finding the perfect individuals to appoint. As you can see, Nikita's hair has already started to turn light blue. And that's because she has started using her powers. Slowly, each one of your hair will turn to the colour of your powers as you start to train with your powers.'

'I may look like a 20-year old but I have lived a very long time. Time does not affect us when we start using our powers. It's getting late now, training starts tomorrow. Breakfast will be provided.'

They nodded their heads and headed back downstairs to their rooms stopping to check on Nikita and Blaze. Both of them were peacefully sleeping.
