Prologue
In 1995, 7 kids were born on the same day in Saint Judith Hospital, South Dakota. When they were in their individual cots, a 16-year-old-teen, Haltman sneaked into the nursery to drop off something in each of their cots that will change their normal DNA into something extraordinary.
As Haltman stood in front of the cots, he took out a deck of cards which had different lists of powers and abilities. He strides from one cot to the other, reading the names of the babies and observing its eyes to determine which card to put in the cot. If the card he picks is suitable for the baby, it will slip out of his hand and disappear into the baby's left shoulder, creating a small birthmark enough to avoid suspicion.
After all the babies had been chosen by the force of the card, Haltman disappeared into thin air leaving the babies peacefully.
