I wonder who this doctor could be. I am wheeled through the door to see an older lady in her early 50s sitting stiffly behind the neatest desk I have ever seen. "Hello, you must be Allisollani. Katherine, you may go." The lady said in a friendlier tone than her sleek chin length gray hair and steel grey pant suit implored.
"Sola, my name is Sola." I said almost in a whisper, something about this lady had me in awe. "Of course, Sola. You may call me Helen. I am a psychologist. I am here to help you sort out your emotions and to answer your questions." Helen was right to the point and I really liked that about her.
"How long will I be here? What is wrong with me and.. um.. where are my parents and sister?" I realized now that no one had mentioned my family once, which was odd because they were usually fighting there way to be beside me no matter what. Helen grew silent for a couple minutes and looked back at me with a bit of sadness in her eyes.
"Sola, you will be here for some time now. I do not quite know exactly what your condition is, but here are my theories ; depression is an obvious trait, I also believe there is some paranoia and anxiety. I am not certain yet, but I will know soon. As for your family, they have decided to leave you while you are recovering." I can not believe my family has abandoned me like this, all alone. I need them most now. Silent tears begin to fall down my face. "Child, it is all right. I think we are almost done here. Sola, from what I have gathered is that you do not share much, so I think it will be best for you to write in a journal." Helen reaches into her desk and pulls out a pretty pink leather bound book and hands it to me with a weak smile on her face.
