Chapter 13

"Jessica? It's Bruno."

"Hello stranger! Why are you calling me?"

"I was... Stupid, I shouldn't have broken up with you."

"So..."

"Do you wanna. You know. Get back together?"

"Well... Look who's running back, huh."

"So, is that a yes?"

"Lemme think about that..."

Luciana's Perspective.

I spend the rest of the day searching for some permanent living space. I go along to a house showing with some estate agents and I see a number of different buildings. Some big, some small. But after a good few hours I see a gorgeous property, a detached house with loads of land and stables at the bottom of the garden. It's one of those old-fashioned looking English houses, and it was absolutely stunning, and affordable - bearing in mind it had everything inside already as it was brand new, so I wouldn't have to buy any new furniture unless I really wanted to! I decided to explore inside and noticed the big kitchen, huge lounge, small bathroom and office space, with a couple of other spare rooms. Upstairs were three bedrooms, a big bathroom - like, HUGE, and a walk in wardrobe room. I was in heaven. I agreed to buy it for $645,000. I got a discount because of my family business. I immediately drove back to the hotel and signed out, taking everything with me and drove to my new home. It was all ready to move in to. I was so excited, once inside I got out my phone and went through my contacts. I saw the 'unknown' messages. Bruno. No. I can't go back on what I told myself, so I went to Jason and decided to ring him.

"Hello?"

"Jason! It's Luciana"

"Hey bella! How are you?"

"I'm good. Brilliant actually. I bought a new house!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! I'll text you the address. Still up for tomorrow?"

"Of course! And okay thanks. See you tomorrow"

"Bye!"

We hang up and I sort out all the clothes I bought with me. I need to go shopping. So I decide to drive to the mall which was only 20 minutes away. Looks like my new life is off to a good start.

Bruno's Perspective.

I don't really know why I asked Jess to go back out with me... I guess it's partly to get over Luci. And partly because I missed her, although that part was small. When Jess finally rang me back she agreed to go back out with me. Part of me was relieved and part of me felt like sitting on the floor and crying - makes it official that Luciana is out of my life. I invite Jess out for a drink and she comes over pretty quickly. I drive her out to a little shop and it's nice and relaxed.

"So, what made you come back to me?"

"What do you mean?"

"Exactly that Bruno. Why did you call me out of the blue?"

"I... I missed you."

"I missed you too boo!"

"Hi there guys! You ready to order?"

"I'll just have a cappacino please"

"Okay, and you miss?"

"Urmmm... A tall skinny latte please"

"Of course, I won't be a second"

"Ohhhh babe! That reminds me. I have a fashion show in Washington next week! Come with?"
