" GRACIE JUNE! GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF BED!" my aunt screamed.
I got out of bed, and walked right into the bathroom. I took off my pajamas and hopped into the shower. I brushed my teeth, and put on my clothes which consisted of:
• a crop top hoodie
• high waisted shorts
• high top burgundy converse
I threw my hair into a messy bun, and walked downstairs. My aunt was waiting for me, with a belt in her hands.
" What did I say about getting up late?" my aunt said.
" I'm sorry! My alarm was on silent, but I swear I put it on!"
100% guarantee she turned it off herself.
" Time for your daily beating." she said.
I tried to run upstairs and hide, but she grabbed my ankle, and started beating me with the belt. I screamed in pain. She laughed. The beating eventually stopped and I went to school.
And that was pretty much my life. Go to school and act like there is nothing wrong with me, come home, get beat again, eat, and go to sleep.
Hi. My name is Gracie Harrison. I'm 17 years old and live with my aunt. My mom died in a car accident, and my dad, well, he left when I was little. My aunt took me in and ever since then, I've been in a living nightmare. She's been abusing me ever since I moved in. I'm fed up with it. I only have one friend at school, Meals. She's been with me since I was practically born, and even she doesn't know I get abused, my aunt threatened that if I told anybody she'd kill me, and she's not kidding.
I just wish that something, just one little thing, would happen to get me out of this place. And I have the feeling it's not going to come anytime soon... or so I thought.
