Hey guys. So since most of the peeps in my class read this, you would know I wasn't in school today😂. I'll explain later. Anyways, let's get on with the book!
Gracie's POV
It was a few weeks later, aka my first week of chemo. I was really weak after the first week ( very funny ). Half of my hair was cut off, and my skin was pale. I was admitted into a Children's Hospital that week, and all of the nurses and staff are really nice. They all assured Jenna and Cam that I would be okay.
" How you feeling?" Bryce asked.
If you guys didn't know, me and Bryce are dating.
" Tired," I said. " But the doctor is making me stay up until the test results come back."
Welcome to the life of chemo.
" It's ok," he said, stroking my now short hair.
My eyes started to close.
" Gracie!" Bryce screamed. " Get up!"
" I'm up!" I screamed.
I turned on the tv to watch a movie. Bryce and I watched Aladdin.
When the movie was over, the doctor came into the room. Not walking, not speed walking, running.
" Gracie. We have something to tell you."
