Holy guacamole. I am not ashamed to say I read Between Takes in one sitting. It's that good. I fell in love with Bennett and Teddy from the very beginning, and I could not put this book down. Nonfictionalex has this way of wrapping her readers into the story and pulling them through a honest, humorous, and relatable narrative that will have you holding on until the very end and leave you wanting for more. (And there's a sequel!). This book also exhibits multimedia in an extremely clever way - the best I've seen so far.

Teddy Sharpe is kind of famous.

He also kind of already has Fourth of July plans. But when he snags a last minute audition for a movie that could make or break his acting career, his kind-of-plans are thrown off course by bad weather and a familiar stranger. [ With Multimedia ]
