Chapter 2

Teacher walks in
Teacher: "Alright everyone, take your seat. The bell rings in less than a minute."

Gigi's POV
I walk all the way to the opposite side of the classroom and take my seat at my desk. When I take me seat I turn to look at Jaime from across the room. He smiles then turns to Alondra & blows her a kiss.
"Ughh" I whisper.

2 class periods later

Gigi's POV
As I'm at my locker getting my lunch money for lunch I hear someone yell out my name.
Dani: " Gigi!!! How was science class? Was the test hard?
Gigi: " We didn't have a test" (giggles)
Dani: "Oh thank god!!"
Gigi: "Silly"
Dani: "(Laughs) hurry up the bells gonna ring any minutes and we"ll be late to lunch. (I'm always late)
Gigi: *shuts locker*

At lunch
Dani: "ok so guess what, Erick asked me out to homecoming this year!!!!"
Gigi: "Really!?"
Dani: " Yesss! I was shaking when he asked me. Ughh, this was so unexpected I have nothing to wear. We need to go dress shopping together. Homecoming is in 2 weeks."
Gigi: "Dani I'm not going to homecoming."
Dani: "WHAT WHY!!?"
Gigi: " I haven't been asked by anyone. *😕*
Dani: "Fine then just come with Erick & me. Im sure he wouldn't mind.Come on please!?"
Gigi "Fine." *🙄*
Dani: "Wee hoo."
Gigi: (giggles) "So, what was it you needed to tell my earlier but said you'd tell me right now?"
Dani: "That, what I just told you. Erick asked me 30 seconds before you arrived this morning."
Gigi: "ohh."
Dani: "Yeah. Okay, so we need to go dress shopping this weekend, together!"
Gigi: "Can't wait." *😬*

Gigi's POV
Honestly I didn't want to go to homecoming. I'm just gonna be the 3rd wheel. I really hoped Jaime or somebody else would have asked me to go with them. But who am I kidding, Jaime has Alondra to take.

Dani's POV
I knew Gigi didn't want to go to homecoming since last year but she has
to go. This is her chance to get Jaime out of her head. She needs to have fun & stop stressing over small things all the time. I'm going to make this an unforgettable night for my best friend Gisselle.

Dani: "So, Erick told me one of his friends Sebastian was throwing a birthday party for his girlfriend this Friday, want to come?
Gigi: "What am I going to do at the party?" Jaime's gonna obviously be there with Alondra. I don't want to see them making out or anything, plus we already said we were going dress shopping. "
Dani: "We are going dress shopping but on Saturday. Think about it and let me know Friday night ok."
Gigi: "Okay."

Bell rings for next period.
Monday- Friday were just regular normal days.

Skip to Friday after school

Dani's & Gigi's text conversation
Gigi: "Hey, i thought about it & asked permission to go to the party so yeah, I'll go with you :)"
Dani: "Yay!!! Bring a bikini. The pools going to be open. That way you could show Jaime what he doesn't have. Ehh ehh ;)"
Gigi "whatever."
Dani: "Hahahah. My mom & I will pick you up at 7."
Gigi: "okay."
Later on at 7
