Chapter 14

In Gigi's room
Gigi's POV
I got home and went straight into my room. Everyone was in they're room already so I just decided to go to mine.
I took my shoes off + bag off and put them away. I then went into my bathroom and took a nice bubble bath. It was now 9:30. "Man I take long in the bathroom."
After my nice bubble bath I dried myself with my towel and changed into my pjs.( pic above). I blow dried my hair and made a french braid. After changing and doing my braid I brushed my teeth & washed my face. Finally I went into my bedroom , turned my lights off and laid in bed till I got sleepy. I got to admit, I was still pretty scared about the movie. I couldn't do anything. I kept thinking something was going to knock on my window or drag me off my bed.
I finally got sleepy and decided to go to sleep.

15 minutes later
"Gosh I can't go to sleep. I'm still scared! Especially with this thunder storm.
What should I do? (To all my Cruzers out there 😏) should I call Jaime?
NO NO NO Gigi. Jaime would never come to your house at ten thirty o'clock pm. Or would he? Whatever, I'm texting him."

Phone call
Gigi: uhh hey Jaime. Are you busy?
Jaime: hey Gigi and well I was actually about to go to sleep. Can I help you with something?
Gigi: oh no no, I was just wondering what you were doing.
Jaime: oh well I'm laying in bed thinking about someone very special.
Gigi: lol Alondra?
Jaime: nope. Keep guessing.
Gigi: Naomi, Maria, Dani?
Jaime: you'll never figure it out
Gigi: Erick?
Jaime: Jaja no silly, you...
Gigi: oh um, didn't you say you were going to sleep already?
Jaime: "I mean I was but why not stay up talking to you."
Gigi: "oh no no I don't want to keep you up. I'll let you go to sleep. Goodnight sweet dreams."
Jaime: "Oh no... *end of call*

Gigi's POV
Man! I'm doomed. & SCARED! I can't fall asleep and it's already 10:34pm. I need to wake up early for church school tomorrow! Whatever, I'll try falling asleep thinking about flowers, butterflies & Jaime. *smiles*
"Haha Gigi, you are silly. *hugs her Minnie Mouse Jaime bought her for her 8th birthday*
"Goodnight Minnie Mouse. Don't let the bed bugs bite." *giggles*

10 mins later// 10:44 pm
I was trying to fall asleep when I heard a loud knock coming from outside my balcony. I was already over being scared but now I got even more scared. "Should I ignore it?"
Yes yes Gigi, it's probably just another neighbor bouncing a baseball.
( not at 10:44 pm, lolzzz) or a thunder sound.
10 seconds later
*knock knock*
I ignored it.
*knock knock knock knock*
"Who the heck keeps knocking on my balcony door?"
I finally decided to get up, put my slippers on and check what kept knocking on my window.
*opens balcony door*
"JAIME! What are you doing here. It's almost 11 pm!"
Jaime: "I couldn't sleep so I decided to come by and visit." *smiles*
Gigi: "At 11 pm?"
Jaime: " I was able to sense you were afraid of the storm... & the movie."
Gigi: *playfully punches him*
Jaime: "Did I wake you up?"
Gigi: "no but you'll wake my parents up if you don't keep it down."
Jaime: "oh yeah, sorry."
Gigi: "Come in come in.
Jaime: *walks in Gigi's room*
"I see you still have the Minnie Mouse I bought you for your 8th birthday." *smiles*
Gigi: "Haha yeah I still have her. Do you still have Micky Mouse?"
Jaime: "Of course I do."

Awkward silence...
Jaime: "So Gigi there's something I've been wanting to tell you." *scratches neck*
Gigi: "Y-Yeah yeah anything." *swallows hard*
Jaime: ...
