Meeting Bill

It's freezing and everything is hazy. Your chest hurts, and your mouth feels wet. Once everything becomes more clear, you start to see tall dark trees hovering over your head. There's a circle with a star in it, and you're right in the middle. It was drawn with blood, but you didn't know whose blood it was. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and terrifying, you weren't sure if you should leave or stay. Too terrified to move, you decided to lay down, as you did, you saw some red liquid drop from your chest and mouth to the hard forest floor. "...H-Huh...?" You mumbled weakly. Looking up you saw your parents, staring down at you. Not loving, or hateful, just neutral. After you saw them, they turned and left. "Hey, wait! Help me!" You yell, trying to get up and go after them. They ignored you, and walked into the darkness and disappeared. There was a maniacal laugh coming from someone behind you, but you were busy trying to catch up with your parents. Thing is, you couldn't. The circle kept you inside and you couldn't get out. It was like an invisible shield. " MOOOM!!! DAAAADDD!!!! DON'T LEAVE ME BEHIND!!!" You screamed until your throat hurt. Finally you fell onto the ground, and started sobbing. You were in so much pain, it felt as if there was a saw going through your flesh over and over again. It was too much, eventually you threw up. "Gee kid, keep your digested food in your mouth." Some one said. It was the same person that was behind the circle. You turned to see a yellow triangle with a midnight black bow tie that was as simple as his black top hat. He had one big eye and he had long eyelashes. attached to his triangular body were four skinny black limbs. What a mysterious creature. Now, this whole thing was really confusing. First off, why did your parents leave you bleeding in the forest on the floor at night? Second, why were you in a bloody circle with a messy star on it? Third, why was there a yellow triangle talking to you? Your head really hurt, and you didn't know what to say. "W...What's going on...?" You mumble weakly. The triangle giggled and said " Well, your parents sold you to me so they could have a happy life kiddo!" You stared at the floor, processing this. No, wait this couldn't be real. This must be a dream. None of this makes sense. You pinch yourself and suddenly-

Some one sang.
"HNnggh..." You groan.
"(Y/N!!!)" They yelled.
"Ah!!!" You gasp.
"(Y/N) you're late for your play date with Izzy!"
" H-Huh...?"
"Honey please just get up and get ready. She's waiting outside." Your mother said impatiently. "Mom? Mom!!!" You cry, hugging her tightly. "Uh, what's wrong with you?" She asked. "I had a dream you sold me to a WIERD guy just so you could be happy! It was so scary!!!" You sobbed.
"Aw, don't be sad, I'd never give you away..." She smiled. "No, I'm not sad, I'm so glad it wasn't real!" You say. "Ok, ok that's good, but please for the love of God, get dressed and stop making Izzy wait!" She groaned. You nod quickly and get out of bed.

Izzy was waiting at the porch in her fancy red dress and black flats. She was dressed up, but it had an eery feel to it. She had long curly white hair that shined like the moon on a lonesome night, and had on a black hair band. Her eyes were dark and she had dark rings under them. Izzy had nice posture and was probably very polite. Basically, she looked like the emo version of Alice from Alice in wonderland. ...Now, she wasn't a friend, you two were hanging out for the first time today because she was your closest neighbor that was around your age. Mom really wanted you to have some friends since you guys just moved here, but you weren't sure you and Izzy would get along well. Since you were fun, occasionally obnoxious and had a great sense of humor. Alright, anyways, maybe you should get out there and stop making her wait...
You walk outside wearing a black coat and jeans with converse shoes. Didn't even bother brushing your hair cause it looked fine either way. ( That's what your mom says at least.)
"Hello." She said in a cold voice. "H-Hi..." You replied shyly, walking down your porch. " I have a question for you." She said. "Um, sure, what is it?" You say. " Do you really want to be my friend or did your mother force you?" She asked plainly. Seeming not to care if I said either one. Crap, this girl was not afraid to say what she wanted... What to say? If you answer honestly she might get sad. But you don't want to lie... "Well.. I mean, you're my neighbor, so I might as well learn more about you..." You answer. Perfect, perfect, perfect! You weren't lying, but you weren't saying directly that it was your moms idea!!! Ah, you genius! "Hm. Once you get to know me better, I'm sure you won't like me." She said. You sweat and shrug. "Maybe not maybe so.. Hey, so um, what do you want to do?" You said. "I have everything planned. Just follow me, we are going to my house to read something I've been working on." She smiled slightly. Great, not only was this awkward, but she was going to show you a book that she worked on. Probably have to act like it's a "cool" and "interesting" book too, huh?
