I woke to see the sun was already pretty high in the sky. I got up quickly and showered, this time not taking more than five minutes.

I headed out of my room once I was dressed and knocked on Sweden's room. There was no reply. I slowly opened the door and peeked in, my heart beating faster and faster.

The room was empty. The bed was correctly made and nothing was in the room, not even his rucksack. I felt my heart drop. I ran out of the room and bursted in the living room scanning the small area. Still no sign of Sweden or his stuff. I crossed the living room and opened the kitchen door.

On the table was set a breakfast, for one. I looked around still wondering if by any chance I had missed seeing him. But I hadn't, he simply wasn't there anymore. I plopped on the chair and faced the meal he had made for me.

There wasn't much since I didn't supply the house for a long time but he still made it look extremely delicious. I then noticed a piece of paper folded under the plate. I took it and realized it was a note from Sweden.

I unfolded it with a small smile on my face and pink cheeks.

Dear wife,
Thank you very much for your hospitality. Thank you also for coming with me on this journey, I would have felt alone otherwise. I have made you some breakfast, I am sorry if it isn't the best, I used what I could find.
By the time you are reading this I must already be on my way back to my house. I am sorry if the way I left displeases you but I didn't want to be a bother to you anymore or abuse of your kindness any longer.
Thank you very much for everything,
Sweden.

My smile soon faded and my chest started hurting slightly. I put the note down and stared at my plate aimlessly. I slowly started eating then went to put my plate in the sink and noticed that it was perfectly clean. I glanced around the kitchen and no spot was left unclean.

The whole house was spotless. And I didn't have the chance to thank him. I sighed and plopped down on my couch staring at the ceiling. After a couple minutes of moping I jumped up. I had too much work to do and I couldn't waste my time doing nothing.

I put on adequate clothes and went outside to my garden. I started turning the soil and pulling out weeds. After several hours of work in my backyard, I had finished planting new fruits and vegetables for the year.

Hearing my stomach grumble from hunger, I decided it was time to buy supplies from the nearby village. I changed my clothes once again and headed out. By chance, the farmer's market was still in town and I was able to buy fresh ingredients. I ended up eating in town with a lovely old lady who owned a little coffee shop.

The whole day passed by, and as busy as it was, I still felt deranged. After showering I sat in the living room and turned on the radio. I pulled out my knitting needles and started a new item. While knitting my mind started to drift off.

I mostly thought about the small trip I made to here, and, Sweden. He never really left my mind the whole day. And that just frustrated me. I had a sort of theory but refused to believe it.

Even though Sweden actually proved himself to be a nice and caring person, I couldn't just fall in love with him like that. But a lot of other countries have been extremely nice to me yet never had I felt the same way.

That's when I had an idea. The next day, I would go to Sweden and clear things up for myself. It was obvious that I was just touched by the sudden discovery of Sweden's hidden personality. After I get to know him better as a friend, I was sure everything would settle.

I sighed, content of my little plan and looked down to my knitting. I had been knitting what seemed to be a scarf. I shrugged and pursued while listening to the relaxing music on the radio.

'Tomorrow, I'll go to Sweden's place to thank him and then all these weird feelings will go away!'
