Song of the chapter- Alone Together by Fall Out Boy
We were all at a meet-n-greet today and let me tell you it was exhausting ! So many people coming up to you asking if you're in a relationship with any of the guys and then trying to defend yourself when you have some fans crazy enough to lash out on you !
"Oh my god ! I'm so happy to finally meet you guys !" A petite girl squawked.
Andy put on his best smile,"I see its your first time ?"
The girl nodded,"You bet your ass it
is ! I'm so nervous right now !"
"So being nervous causes you to squawk like an idiot bird ?" I muttered
"Group hug ! Let's do this ! Take our picture (Y/N) ?" CC asked
I shrugged then took the petite girls phone. I waited for the guys to get into whatever position they wanted then snapped the picture.
The girl squealed happily and snatched the phone out of my hand. Huffing, I went back to my seat right beside Jake.
"What's wrong (Y/N) ?" He asked
I shrugged,"I am now knowing how the wives of rockstars feel when they're with their husbands. Not like I'm married to any of you guys but still."
He chuckled," I can see how exhausting it is. You should've seen how many fans had to get kicked out from trying to make Andy and Ash kiss."
I laughed," What ?! Are you serious ?"
He nodded," Yeah ! We love our fans and all but some of them just don't know when to stop."
I nodded," I somewhat understand."
I watched as CC and Ash took a group picture with a girl that had a pixie cut with orange hair.
"I can see how passionate you guys are with your fans." I smiled as Andy picked up a fan, squeezing the life out of him.
"You were the same way when you met us."
I looked at him cautiously," I don't remember being that crazy."
"No," he chuckled," You had that sparkle in your eye. Like it was the best day of your life."
I smiled softly," That's because it was. It still is."
Jake grabbed my hand under the table and laced our fingers together. I blushed lightly then squeezed our hands.
"I want to take you out on a date." He blurted.
"Sounds fun. I'd love that a lot. When and what time ?"
He stood up, our hands still laced,"How about now ?"
"Now ?!" I exclaimed, earning a few looks from people and the guys. I looked away blushing furiously.
"Yes, now." He chuckled," We're finish with all the signings. The guys are just talking with fans."
"But...don't you wanna talk with
them ?"
"I wanna talk with you and only you." He smiled cheekily.
I nodded then stood up," Let's go then."
Jake walked out without anyone seeing us. I smiled. For some reason I feel rebellious just for doing this. Sure it isn't a big deal but it just seems like it.
"Where are we going ?" I asked
"Somewhere we can be alone together, forever."
I giggled quietly. It was cute, the way how he made a Fall Out Boy reference.
"Wanna get some ice cream first ?"
I nodded," Hell yeah !" I jumped on his back then wrapped my legs around his waist.
He chuckled, gripped my thighs and jumped then he started to jog as I giggled uncontrollably.
We went to the ice cream shop and walked out. We talked for a while and then after we finished eating we threw our cups in the trash and I jumped right back onto Jake's back.
I've spent so much time with the other guys that I forgot how fun it is to hang out with Jake. He's way sweeter than the others and he hasn't made a move on me yet. Sure he's done it other times but now, now he's giving me the space that I've been craving.
"We're here !" He cheered.
I slowly got off of his back and looked around. How the hell did he get up on a hill that fast ?! We were too far away from the woods.
"I only walked two blocks, (Y/N). It isn't very far to walk here."
"Maybe 'cause you ran like the speed of light ! We're nine miles away from the meet-n-greet you goof."
He blushed lightly," I know. I was just so excited to finally spend time with you."
I smiled. Jake can be so damn cute !
He grabbed my hand and led me towards a blanket with a telescope sitting beside it.
"What are we going to do ? Count starts ?" I joked.
"Maybe." He chuckled.
We sat down, our hands intertwined,"This is pretty neat Jake. I would never take you to be this kind of person."
"Well you must not be a very observant fan."
I smiled," I am, just not that much."
"Exactly." He guffawed.
I rolled my eyes and picked up the telescope peering through it. I squealed as I spotted my very first shooting star. It was soon followed by many others.
I sat the telescope down and looked at Jake who was smiling like an idiot.
"How'd you know ?" I asked curiously.
"Whatever do you mean hun ?" He said, putting on the best surprised face he could.
I laugh and stood up, pulling him up with me then gave him a hug. Ever since I was a kid, I've always wanted to see shooting stars !
I pulled away then softly laid my head on his chest," Thank you so, so, so much Jake."
He rubbed my back soothingly," Anything for the most beautiful and special girl in the world."
I looked up at him, blushing and smiling like a fool.
He then started to lean in closely and I quickly closed the gap between us. We kissed for a while.
Okay, maybe more than that, so
what ? Sue me.
I never realized how great it is to spend time with Jake until now and I'm going to make sure we catch up on everything together.
