Sorry for the inconvenience of how slow this story is going, but here is your long awaited update . :)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Darkness. It stood over you like the tallest skyscraper in the world. It was the last thing you remember before passing out in the middle of the hallway of your school. Your head hurt, in fact your whole body hurt. It stung in agony every time you took a fragile breath in. You felt helpless, you couldn't move. So, instead you relaxed and tried to rely on the other three senses you had left.

What can you hear? The constant humming and beeps of unidentified machines. You recognized them from somewhere, but we're in too much pain to even give it a second thought. There was also whispering somewhere around you. It was very familiar. And feminine. Ah ha! It was your mother. But why was she whispering?

But what about smell? Can you smell anything? It was faint but it was there. It smelled of flowers and plastic. It was a weird combination, but somehow it worked together.

Can you make out anything? Colors? Shapes? Anything? There was nothing. Just a abyss of black. Wait... There was something. It was bright, extremely bright.

You had noticed that you'd just opened your eyes. So, that's where you were this whole time. A hospital. You looked around you, and saw your mother talking to a doctor while your father was sitting next to you with his head in his hands. There was also a small figure in room. It was Levi. But why was he here? You had no idea and were quite curious. Just then your mother almost ran over to you grasping you in a semi-tight hug while asking questions such as, "Are you alright?" Or "Do you feel any better?" Sighing, you hugged her back as hard as your weak arms could while smiling. "I'm fine mom. I don't feel a thing" You lied. It hurt, it hurt so much you wanted to cry, but you didn't want your mom to feel bad. "Thank goodness you're alright, I was worried sick about you." She said as she brushed a few strands of loose hair out of your face. You grabbed her hand and smiled. "I told you, I'm fine mom." You smiled sweetly at her. A deep sigh sounded from your left. "What happened to you after your mother dropped you off?" Your dad said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

You looked at him then looked at your ivory bed spread fiddling with your fingers. "I... I was walking to my locker, then Brittany came and took your letter out of my hand. She said she was going to rip it. She even ate the candy inside right in front of my face! She kept teasing me, and teasing me and I got tired of it, so I pushed her and grabbed it out of her hand. That's when all the bad stuff happened." You took a deep breathe in and continued on with the story. "She was really mad after I pushed her, so she got up and started punching me. Then she started to kick me. I yelled for her to stop but she didn't listen. She just kept going and going." By this point you were gripping the sheets while your eyes burned with tears. You took a shaky breath in trying to regain your composure. You smiled weakly and then said "That's when someone came and helped me. They told Brittany to leave or they'd beat her up." You laughed softly. Turning towards your father you frowned slightly, "That's all I remember before everything turned black."

"That's fine honey, your mother and I both heard enough. I'm just glad we got you out of there, and that you're safe." Your father said while gripping your hands. "After you had passed out we got a call from the school saying Levi brought you into the clinic with blood and bruises all over you. We were quite skeptical at first until he and the teachers explained it to us."

Wait Levi, did that, for me? But why? Did he carry me? I'm so confused. But I should probably thank him nonetheless. "I-i, you didn-, thank you... I really do appreciate it a lot. You saved me." Dang it, I stuttered. Great way to come off cool (name).

(Reader pov over sorry lol)
Deciding that you and Levi should talk privately, you're parents left the room saying, "We'll leave you two to talk." After what felt like two hours of silence you broke it by saying, "I really did mean what I said. Without you I would've been dead meat. Literally." You chuckled while trying to find the unknown place that held the interest of your savior. "Tsk, what would you do if you saw that happening to someone you like? It's common sense. Just be careful next time." He replied sternly while chewing the inside of his cheek. A light blush dusted his cheeks as he looked towards you. Surprise hit you like a brick in the face. He liked you. He liked you? He, Levi Ackerman, liked you. "Y-you like me?" You barely managed to squeak out as a deep bush of roses bloomed on your face. Levi's eyes grew wide for a mere second before they went back to their original size as he protested "P-pshh I-I n-never said t-that." You smiled at the deep red blush that was clearly evident on his porcelain skin. "W-well, I just wanted you to know," you said smiling sweetly, "that I like you too." "Really?!" He said with an unexpected surprised voice. "Yep!" You replied. Just after your short conversation, your mother came in saying, "I hope you guys had a good talk, sorry it had to end so early. Levi honey, your mom is waiting for you outside." Levi looked at you then your mom then back at you still in disbelief of what you just admitted. After a few minutes of staring, he smiled slightly and looked at you. "Well, I guess I'll see you at school (name). Make sure you heal fast, we have recess to catch up on. Oh, and goodbye Mrs.(last name), thank you for allowing me to come and see your daughter." He said while walking to the door. "No problem Levi, I wouldn't give any less for a hero." Your mom smiled kindly at him as he disappeared behind the door. She walked over to you then grinned widely, "So, what did you guys talk about?" You rolled and sighed deeply. "Mooooom..."
