Chapter 2

Maggie's P.O.V

The plane finally arrived at my destination, London. I brought down my bags above me and the bag beside me and carried them out of the plane.

I sat down and turned on my phone. I searched the nearest hotel to the airport, which was holiday inn. I headed out the door of the airport so I could get a taxi to take me to holiday inn. I waited on a bench out side waiting for a taxi to come, no such luck.

Maybe I should walk it might be easier than waiting for a taxi. I think I should because its 2:05am and it would be hard to get a taxi.

I got up and searched directions on my phone. Once it showed up I started walking down Chinchester street. I did this sorta jump/walk/run thing where I'm walking, but I sorta run and jump. It's a weird thing I do when I wanna get somewhere faster.

Chinchester was a pretty long street, but doing my jump/walk/run thing I got to the end of it faster than I thought. Next I turn to Claverton street and now I just want to sleep so I jogged down Claverton, but then I stopped to look at the pond across the street.

"Ow" I yelped as I got knocked over by some boy around my age. I stood up and dusted of my arms.

"Sorry" he said and ran forward again. He glanced at me quickly, but I wasn't able to see his face. I looked at the ground and saw he dropped something. His room key to holiday inn. The same hotel I'm staying at.

I should give it back to him, I tried to run ahead to catch up with this guy, but he didn't slow down. He ran into the hotel, I ran faster and faster, but I couldn't reach him and return his room key. Ugh this is so annoying I am tired and I really don't want to be chasing some guy around trying to return something.

I pushed open the doors and I saw him step in the elevator I dash to the elevator, but someone stops me- the lady at the desk.

"Excuse me you have to have a hotel room or be with someone with a hotel room here to go past this floor" the lady at the front desk stopped me, oh great this just made things harder.

"I am getting a hotel room now, but that guy who just got into the elevator dropped his key and..." I began explaining but she clearly didn't care.

"Sorry, rules are rules" she assured me. I threw my hands up in frustration.

"But, ugh, fine if I have to". I decided quickly so I could return it to this guy and go back to sleep I am extremely tired.

I signed a few stuff this and that I'm on the 2 floor room 224. Oh gosh it's already 2:20am. Well that guy already left and I'm sure he can just get another one at the front desk.

Walked towards the elevator and stepped inside. I pushed the second floor button and the elevator doors closed.

It was easy to get to since it was only two floors up, which I am thankful for so for time for me to sleep, even if I would only get a few more minutes I'll take it.

Niall's P.O.V

"Excuse me, but I lost my room key can I have another one for room 226"? I asked the lady at the front desk because I can't find mine and the boys are asleep.

"There was a girl who was just here who said she had this guys room key, it could be yours". She said. Now when I think about it the main place that I would lose it would be when I knocked that girl over by mistake.

"I would just give you another key, but I already gave enough keys for that room, so you're gonna have to go to her room and ask for it.'' She shrugged .

"Err, which room is she staying in"? I questioned her because obviously I can't just go knocking on every hotel room in this hotel.

"Only two doors down from you at room 224". She said continently.

"Okay thanks" I thanked her and hopped back into the elevator. It would be much easier if Louis didn't keep on losing the room key.

The elevator went up two floors and the doors opened. I headed in the direction of mine and the boys' hotel room because the room I want to go to is two doors before.

Room 228, 227, 226, 225- and here is room 224. I knocked on the door.

"Who is it"? Someone groggily. You can tell by her voice that she probably wasn't from London because she has American accent.

"Err, I sorta lost my room key and the lady at the front desk said you had it and she would give one to me, but my friend kept losing his so there was none available left for my room". I explained though the other end of the door.

She opened the door and you could see the tired look on her face.

"Ya I have your room key, but let me show you a trick to get in without a room key. Uh which room is yours? She said and she said there was a way to get in with out a room key, how is that possible?

"It's 226, not far at all from here". I said. We walked down to my place. And she slid the key into her pocket.

"Watch and learn". She spoke out. She pulled an elastic out of her hair-

"What's that gonna do...." I started, but then she spoke again.

"Don't question". She interrupted. She put the elastic around her thumb and using her other hand hand she used her index finger and her thumb and pulled back hard and aimed for the slot that you slide your key into.

She released the elastic and it hit exactly in the slot. "Open the door now" she ordered me to do.

I twisted the knob and pushed forward and it opened. Wow. That's all I could think. Wow.

"Are you impressed"? She asked me, but who wouldn't be impressed at that!

"Definitely, that was brilliant". I exclaimed amazed at how she did that.

"Now to do that you need elastics, good aim, and good strength". She stated. I won't be able to do that ever.

"Since I won't be able to do that because I don't have that kind of talent, may I please have my room key"? I asked her nicely.

"Sure and if you want more advice well, I don't know really that much because one day I was just shooting elastics around for fun and I guess I just had really good aim and once I was at another hotel and I forgot my room key and so I was trying and trying to open it, but it wouldn't budge, so I just shot an elastic at the key slot and it opened". She told me then handed back my room key.

"Does your mother or father do archery"? I wondered because maybe it's genetics.

She didn't acknowledge me and was silent for a moment.

"I should be getting back to sleep now because its really early, but it was nice meeting you". She finally said.

"Okay maybe we could talk more later then, goodbye". I waved and she shut the door behind her.

I can't believe I forgot to ask what her name was and I wonder why she was silent when all I asked was 'does your mother or father do archery'?

And I didn't ask for her number so I could call her or she could come over and we could get to know each other better and she would find out that I'm Niall Horan and I'm in a famous boy band and she could meet the boys too.

Later when it's not really early in the morning maybe I could knock on her door and we could get to know each other.
