It was a cold winter night when it all began, but I don't want to start there. Before is what's important, all the building up to the climax of the story.

I woke up in the morning tossed all my blankets around searching for my phone. That gosh damn alarm was hitting a height in it's fucking crescendo and I was ready to crush the damn thing. I don't even need it at the moment, I shower at night, and well I was already dressed for school. But here I am making a gosh damn mess trying to find the loud ass phone. I paused and realized, it was was resting on the nightstand and mentally threw a brick at myself. Time to go to school.
I threw on my signature jean jacket and Nikes. Then took large steps into the kitchen to see my mom was still getting her lunch together. I knew I was gonna be late, I always am, but I really hate it. Fuck I really hate being late. I settled on pulling out my phone.
Kik: everyone is just sending forehead selfies while in the hall nothing new.
Facebook: just a bunch a white nonsense
"Alright grab the garbage and let's go."
I didn't reply, didn't feel the need to, I just continued to scroll as I walked outside to toss the trash away and got in the car.
Instagram: ugh just pictures of pretty people I wished I looked like
Snapchat: pUPPER
"You okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine, just tired."
"Oh yeah, me too I ju-"
I zoned out knowing thing is gonna be a long day. I nodded and reacted when I needed to and that was it. And when we reached the school I said my usual;
"Have fun at work, see you later!"
Then slammed the door so I can quickly enter the hell hole I know as high school. But hey, it's the end of November, and Winter Break is soon. So, fuck it.
I entered my first class, whatever the fuck math it is, I wasn't gonna pay attention anyway. My pal Cliff walked in even later then me and sat down. Neither of us do work in this class so it's really surprising we're both passing.
"Oh my gosh Demi just-"
We play that stupid Episode app for the Demi stories most of the time. Okay, it's not really stupid, but like it makes us both seem even gayer. Well I mean, I do only have two completely straight friends so I mean it isn't unusual.
Nothing's unusual to me actually.
