The wind bellowed and made the house shake as I walked in. Em showed me into the kitchen where an older woman was standing.
"Why hello there!"
"Hello."
Not to be rude or anything but she looked far to old to be Em's mother.
"I'm Em's Grandma, but she calls me Mom."
Ahh there it is.
"Nice to meet you."
"What's your name?"
"Mads"
"What's your full name?"
I hesitated, because when I say Madilyn people really push with saying she.
"Madilyn."
She smiled and went back to what she was doing. I couldn't see thought her wide hips but I could tell something fishy was going on. Other then the actual fish on the stove. Em led me into her living room and I sat don't on the plastic covered sofa.
"You need a phone?"
"Uh yeah."
At first I trusted them, but this house is hella fishy. So once they handed me their phone and left the room, I looked up San's number and texted him off the persons phone.
You with the gang?
Yes, why? Did you want to come over?
I need you to come get me from this sketchy house.
I uhh, okay what's the address? Should I bring everyone along?
The power went out.
Fuck the power went out. The address is - and yes. Please hurry.
I quickly deleted the texts, and as soon as I did a flashlight shined in my face. Still shocked from the light and how I remembered the address I froze for a moment.
"Hey, looks like the snow knocked the power out."
I could see from the corner of my eye that the snow was now falling lightly, and that the street lights were on.
"Damn, well hey thanks for letting me warm up, but I'm gonna wait outside for my ride."
They grabbed my shoulder, I shivered at the touch. A grin slowly spread across their face. I saw a twinkle of light come from my right. Fuck. Shit. Dick. Bitch. Of course it had to be actual serial killers, God fucking dammit I'm gonna die.
"You haven't eaten your soup."
Everything went black.
