Once Upon A Time
There was a princess
Her hair as dark as the midnight sky
Decorated with lilac flowers

She was sitting in her castle
Laying on the bed
Crying her eyes out
Wishing she wasn't there

She was trapped her castle
Scared of her image
The world shamed her
For who she really was

All she could see was her
The other princess
The one with the hair as light as the sand
Decorated with her hands

She was different
Not like the others
She liked girls
Just like her brothers

She loved her
For who she was
But she's locked away
From the world

The princess looks outside
She sees her
The girl of her dreams
She saw radiant beams

The princess was fighting
Trying to get in
Eventually she got caught
And thrown in the dungeon

They were separated because of something
Something no one can choose
It was who they were

It wasn't witchcraft
Nor Sorcery
It was love
But for the wrong gender

Love is love
It shouldn't be shamed
Everything is different
Even Love

Shaming someone for who they love
Is like shaming someone for eating something you hate
It's their choice not yours

Let them be them
And You be You
