Link couldn't help himself. He kept moving closer until he was right on top of Lin. Their noses touching, Link leaned in for a kiss. Lin knew it was wrong but the familiar taste of his lips drew her in. There was something about him now that she just could not resist. The kiss was long and slow. Like a long overdue release of frustrations. Link moved to Lin's neck, as he used to do. However, this time was different.
As he softly bit Lin's neck, her breath hitched. He gave a sensitive kiss before he instinctively reared his teeth and bit harshly. Lin let out a soft yelp while Link used taught kisses on the neck as an excuse to sip blood through the small holes in Lin's neck. Link was frustrated, his teeth had not fully developed so there were only the tiniest of bite marks on her neck, which only made him thirstier.
Link began to kiss and tease Lin's neck in an attempt to draw out more of the claret liquid. It was a futile attempt, however, as no extra blood came from the wound. Link sat back, his eyes returning to the normal shade of brown. Both Link and Lin let out a sigh. Lin still unsure of what had just transpired. Link leaned in and gave a gentle kiss on Lin's forehead.
"Darling," Link whispered "we need to talk. Something's happened." Lin looked concerned but content at the same time. "Are you okay?" Link asked, getting a grip on what it was he just did. Lin simply nodded her head, drowsy from what had just happened.
"I'm just a little..." She trailed off, falling asleep. Link lifted her up, placing her on her bed, where she promptly curled up with her blankets. Link leaned in and gave soft kisses to Lin's cheek and the bite mark on her neck. As he walked outside he faintly remembered what had happened to him the night before. Only then truly understanding what had just happened.
